I am a Blasphemer

For those unaware of the context, recent debate on the reformation on the Blasphemy law has triggered a spate of violence. With high profile targets like Governor Salmaan Taseer & Minority Minister Shahbaz Bhatti being the recent targets. Those who targeted them have justified it under the name of blasphemy. Being a muslim, nothing hurts me more than cold-blooded murder being justified in the name of Islam.

I am a blasphemer
I am a blasphemer because my heart cries every time a human is slaughtered in the name of religion
I am in shambles whenever the up holders of religion use it to justify murder.
I am a blasphemer because my tears do not recognize the difference between an Ahmedi, Shia, Wahabbi, Barelvi, Christian,Hindu, Muslim or an Atheist
It pains to witness the mosques being used as the barracks of demagogues instead of as a place to unite believers in remembrance and prayer.
I am a blasphemer because my faith in God is stronger than any offensive word, or action committed. I refuse to be offended by people who disagree with me.
I am appalled when sermons, meant to deliver messages of faith, call out for blood.
I am a blasphemer because inciting violence in the name of Islam offends me more than caricatures.
I disown every single sermon, fatwa, and cleric that uses my religion, my scripture, and my hadiths to validate their thirst for authority.​

I am a blasphemer because I choose to speak; to question.
I want to ask, why?
Why are people allowed to silence words with bullets?
I want to ask, what?
What religion, ideology or culture justifies celebrating cold blooded murder?
I want to ask, where?
Where are all the promises of peace, co-existence, plurality that were promised by Gods men?
I want to ask, how?
How did the word of God, which was meant to guide us and hold us together in compassion, became the decree for murder?
I want to ask, who?
Who will put an end to this madness?
When will we realize that bigotry feeds intolerance?
But I know you wont answer me.
Ignore me. Oppress me.
Silence me with your bullets.

I am with the one who respects everyone's religion and sentiments, Why now everyone need to debate on Blasphemy Law because its now in discussion in western world. Murder of Taseer and Bhattai was repercussion which we have to understand, one Taseer, Bhatti and Remond davis life is so important to discuss then to discuss our Muslim brothers and sister are dieing with War against Terrorism and drones attacks, shumaila suicide coz her husband killed by one American killer but we ignore all that but we no need to talk this Extremism of murderer of Taseer or Bhatti (Bhatti muder might be from Agents of America), who can answer that this suicide attackers are also the result of Black water, agents and consultant of USA those working.

Very well said my brother. Just would like to mention can we bear calling bad name to our parents, our elder and so on and on. Prophets came to enlighten our lives and make us successful. If someone is not convinced , no one is forcing them to follow but start abusing is not the appropriate way
Muhammad pbuh and the rest of the prophet are our loved ones so we will act as we like to punish the culprits.Isn't it a hypocrisy that they cannot listen a single word about there beloved ones and tell us to be quite whatever we say.

Killing in the name of religion is not good, but killing for oil and natural resources, and against religions is good enough, and wont cause no pain in anyone's heart.

The person who wrote this piece of blasphemy, should find out the truth and have the guts to write against them. we all know there is another story going on behind all of these killings, as confessed by several ISI ppl. on mainstream media, but as a saying goes.....''what people do for money''

Actually madam your tears can't make out the difference b/w the sacredness of the true prophet of allahpbuh and a kazzab (who makes a false claim to prophethood), and your heart has no pain when someone abuses the asahaba e karam radialluhanhum, who spent whole of thier lives to bring the truth of islam to us, never cared about thier own families or businesses, and that is how we thank them. very good.
And you are never in shambles when you see that the sunnah of rasool allah pbuh is vanishing.
And it never pains when you read in the Quran, that allah says that he made the heavens and earth and all that is within it only as a sign for the human bieng, and human biengs just to worship him, and people continue to disbelief for their nafs.(and go on not only to propogate it, but enforce it on others)

And you never grieved when thousands of humans are killed in the name of moderation.
And you never ask why? all of those people beating the drum for humanity, are the biggest miscreants and blood spillers.
But you do dare Allah, as you dont realize his power and speak against his religion.
Your biased eyes do not see the gallons of blood flowing in Iraq, Afghanistan, Phalestine, Bosnia, chechnya, e.t.c but killing of a christian by the Americans fuels you enough, that you jump on islamists neck, and revolt against Islam.

And indeed what you wrote is blasphemy, and you will be held accountable for it on the day of judgment. Inshallah.

dear readers this blasphemer, is the same writer who wrote an article for dawn in which she made a request to rehman malik to put a ban on certain websites. She also went on to ask him to ban child porn websites (and in a very inciting way for the reader, like just go and take a look, shame on the writer!), after reading that article,one wonders if the respected writer considers other forms of obscenity normal, and a piece of art. well here is the proof

Sometimes I wonder why these peoples forgot the city of Taif and the incidence took place there, when the city was about to crushed between the mountains of Sarawat. Please Be cautious cause Allah never give second chance. We can scarify anything for Muhammadpbuh even the kingdom of this universe but can't bear a single word against him. So please respect us as we respect you.

This Law is present, will be present and Inshalalh there is no one in this whole world who can abolish it.
