I have lot of respect for Maulana Tariq Jamil. May Allah give him reward for what he is doing (Aameen). One thing I noticed that Maulana quotes Hadeeths without giving references.

“A moment of justice is better than a year of worship."

(Nahj al-Fasāhah , Tradition 1936)

I am not sure about the authenticity of Above Hadeeth.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever keeps a dog, one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducted daily, unless the dog is used for guarding a farm or cattle." Abu Huraira (in another narration) said from the Prophet, "unless it is used for guarding sheep or farms, or for hunting." Narrated Abu Hazim from Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A dog for guarding cattle or for hunting." (Sahih Bukhari; Book #39, Hadith #515)

(2) Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said, "Whoever keeps a (pet) dog which is neither a watch dog nor a hunting dog, will get a daily deduction of two Qirat from his good deeds." (Sahih Bukhari; Book #67, Hadith #389)

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who keeps a dog other than that meant for watching the herd or for hunting loses every day out of his deeds equal to two qirat. (Sahih Muslim; Book #010, Hadith #3815)

(2) Salim b. Abdullah reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Whosover amongst the owners of the house keeps a dog other than one meant for watching the herd or for hunting loses two qirat of his deeds every day. (Sahih Muslim; Book #010, Hadith #3820)
