سر جی، سچ ہے ۔۔۔۔ انقلابِ فرانس کے وقت بھی یہی حالات تھے۔ حکمران، مذہبی اکابرین اور صنعتکار عیاشیوں میں مصروف تھی اور لوگ بھوک سے مرے جارہے تھے۔ آخر کار کیا ہوا؟ اسی بھوکی عوام نے پھر انھی لوگوں کو ان کے گھروں سے نکال نکال کر سڑکوں پر گھسیٹا​

I hope we see the same...... sooner rather than later.

I wish we do not, but it is an absolute of Nature. Allah (SWT) Has also given us the reasons of why many nations before us were destroyed. I wish, we take heed in a timely manner and avoid any such calamity of choice.

Though I am sorry for having a digressing point of view in this regard, yet, I fully acknowledge that if we continue our course (as in present and past), then we cannot escape the inevitable in the future.

Pakistanis have no Stockholm Syndrome. They suffer from mass Dheetholm and Mayoosiholm Syndrome. Only one man is an exception here and his name is Imran Khan.

very valid and true analysis. that's the only booming business in Pak. the real estate market is so over inflated there that the prices are at par with some of the major cosmopolitan cities in the western world. one of the major reason behind it, which is mostly ignored, is the fact that it offers ideal coverup to launder dirty money. that's where your DHA's, Bahria etc comes into play.

very valid and true analysis. that's the only booming business in Pak. the real estate market is so over inflated there that the prices are at par with some of the major cosmopolitan cities in the western world. one of the major reason behind it, which is mostly ignored, is the fact that it offers ideal coverup to launder dirty money. that's where your DHA's, Bahria etc comes into play.

Yes. The investment going into property is basically Capital going into a slumber.
It does not create value/wealth. Conversely, if investment is made into an industry, then the money creates wealth, jobs and value.

And yes, money laundering and/or whitewashing the dirty money is also a factor which played an important part in the boom of this industry in Pakistan.

نیازی کی حکومت سے پہلے فیصل آباد کی ٹیکسٹائل انڈسٹری ملیں بیچ کر سارا پیسہ رئیل اسٹیٹ میں لگا رہے تھے، لیکن پھر دو سال کے بعد وہاں لوگوں نے ٹیکسٹائل انڈسٹری میں پانچ ارب ڈالر کی انویسٹمنٹ کی

In India people invest in performing stocks as their first preference of investment.
Here people invest in property.
Gov has to make it a viable choice for the masses to invest in shares and ensure proper regulation of listed companies, their audits and performance.
People have invested more than 10Billion USD in Bahria alone which could have made our manufacturing and export sector grow by 9-10% had there been proper regulation and incentives and ease of setting and running publicly traded manufacturing and exporting companies.
