That's what they say it is for, and you believe them. Why don't you believe your army then? It's not like what they say has been thoroughly scrutinized.
Again, when was the last time any army was audited anywhere in the world? You have to go by what they give you and that's all there is to it.

First of all there is no such thing as "securities of retired officers" unless you call a chowidak a "securities" and I already gave your the link which states a combined figure of 250 billion which is spent on retired personnel as well plus major weapon procurement. So what ever it is that you are looking for is from within that 260bn budget.

The compensation they get is for putting their life on the line for the country and its citizens and then spending most of their lives serving the country.
When you do any of that, then you have the right to ask such questions, until such a time STFU !

Abhay dhkan tabhi maine kaha tha jab pata lun ka bi nahi hota to bakwas nahi kerte. No one joins the army at the rank of brigadier or general, they all join at junior ranks and are promoted through the armed forces, majority of our senior staff, specially now retired staff have taken part in military action and seen combat against enemies in their time.
Even dictators like Zia and Musharaf have fought in wars for Pakistan before they became generals and dictators.
Yeah so don't compare your useless ass with those of people who have fought for and served the country.
If I put my ass on the line for the country and then served it for most of my life I too would expect a certain amount of compensation and perks.
