On later Thursday, Talib Muhammad, a martyrdom-seeking Mujahid of the Islamic Emirate slammed his three-wheeled motorcycle containing 500 kg explosives into the NATO forces amid frisking the civilians in Southern Kandahar province of Afghanistan, killing as many as 17 US-NATO cowardly troops standing nearby, Mujahideen officials said Friday. The officials added the operation was carried in Maiwand district of the province, while three NATO female soldiers frisking the women in the area were among the those killed in the martyr VBIED attack, according to locals, the mutilated parts of the NATO soldiers were lying scattered around the area till Friday. Friends,
1. The Nation is a prominent newspaper in Pk.
In the report above it seems that the statement of the taliban has been posted as is by the reporter of this newspaper.

2. This is highly unprofessional. The suicide bomber, animal, is being presented as a holy warrior who did a religious act.

3. The language being used to describe the ISAF soldiers is also unprofessional.

4. The newspaper should have given reference to the Taliban website, but, should have written the report on their own, not simply copy and paste from the Taliban website.

5. The Taliban in Pk carryout suicide bombing against your soldiers too, and i am sure you all will agree that soldiers regardless of their nationality deserve respect, especially when they have been killed in the line of duty.
A professional news organization cannot be allowed to have such kind of language posted on its websites home page.

6. How can you condone acts of barbarism in Afghanistan, but, condemn them in Pakistan...???

Another Indian @Horseman doing bollywood drama. US should withdraw it's troops, enough bloodshed on both sides, there is no resolution of afghan war except dialogue.

Mr. Horsemen! what would be your reaction, if in hypothetical world, a foreign country invades India, occupies its land and engages in similar activities with Indian masses. I wonder if you would still talk about the same respect to foreign troops or keep ur head down enjoying you favorite cow-cola.

Friends,
The point i wanted to make was that instead of quoting directly from the Taliban, the reporter should have written the report on his own. On a major news website, such language cannot be tolerated...

9 foreign spies killed in Badakhshan

By Zabihullah Mujahid
There is a report that Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Northern Badakhshan province killed 9 NATO invader’s agents including their local interpreter Friday (Aug. 06). The report indicates that the enemy spies covertly entered the area and got confronted with Mujahideen who opened fire on the enemy and killed them instantly upon the enemy's attempt to escape after the Mujahideen tried to stop them. The documents recovered from the enemy identified two of them as American nationals, Johnson and Tom, while the rest of the spies were German nationals, the documents also revealed the enemy was on clandestine mission against Mujahideen in the area, wanting to locate Mujahideen sanctuaries in Kuran Minjan district of the province.(Taliban website)
==================================================

Unbelievable!!! This is the height of shamelessness.
1. The people killed were aid workers, many were doctors.

2. They were working for an organization that has been carrying out humanitarian work in Afghanistan for the past 40 years.

3. These dedicated people left their comfortable lives in the west and came to Afghanistan to help the people and this is how you disrespect them?

4. Here's the real story my friends :

10 aid workers killed in Afghanistan

Ten members of a medical team, including six Americans, were shot and killed by militants as they were returning from providing eye treatment and other health care in remote villages of northern Afghanistan, a spokesman for the team said Saturday.
Dirk Frans, director of the International Assistance Mission, said one German, one Briton and two Afghans also were a part of the team that made the two-week trip to Nuristan province. They drove to the province, left their vehicles and hiked for hours over mountainous terrain to reach the Parun valley in the province's northwest.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told The Associated Press in Pakistan that they killed the foreigners because they were "spying for the Americans" and "preaching Christianity."
Frans said the International Assistance Mission is registered as a non-profit Christian organization but it does not proselytize.
"This tragedy negatively impacts our ability to continue serving the Afghan people as IAM has been doing since 1966," the charity said in a statement. "We hope it will not stop our work that benefits over a quarter of a million Afghans each year."
Route thought safe

The team, made up of doctors, nurses and logistics personnel, was attacked as it was returning to Kabul following a two-week mission in Nuristan, Frans said. They had decided to travel through Badakhshan province to return to the capital because they thought that would be the safest route, Frans said.
Among the dead was team leader Tom Little, an optometrist from Delmar, N.Y., who has been working in Afghanistan for more than 30 years, Frans said.
Little was expelled by the Taliban government in August 2001 after the arrest of eight Christian aid workers — two Americans and six Germans — for allegedly trying to convert Afghans to Christianity. He returned to Afghanistan after the Taliban government was toppled in November 2001 by U.S.-backed forces.
Frans said he lost contact with Little on Wednesday. On Friday, a third Afghan member of the team, who survived the attack, called to report the killings. A fourth Afghan member of the team was not killed because he took a different route home because he had family in Jalalabad, Frans said.
According to Frans, two members of team worked for International Assistance Mission, two were former IAM workers and four others were affiliated with other organizations, which he did not disclose. He said five of the Americans were men and one was a woman. The Briton and German also were women.
Gen. Agha Noor Kemtuz, police chief in Badakhshan province, said the victims, who had been shot, were found Friday next to three bullet-riddled four-wheel-drive vehicles in Kuran Wa Munjan district. He said villagers had warned the team that the area was dangerous, but the foreigners said they were doctors and weren't afraid. He said local police said about 10 gunmen robbed them and killed them one by one.
He said the two Afghans were interpreters from Bamiyan and Panjshir provinces. A third Afghan man, who had been travelling with the group, survived.
"He told me he was shouting and reciting the holy Qur'an and saying 'I am Muslim. Don't kill me,"' Kemtuz said.
==================================================
1. What is The Nation newspaper doing? Have they quoted the charity organization and presented their side of the story? NO!

2. Animals who do not think twice before killing aid workers who are there to help the Afghan people, are a curse not just for Afghans, but, for the whole world.

3. I request you all to condemn this barbaric act and to also condemn the unprofessional attitude of The Nation.

Brit doctor on Afghan mercy mission slaughtered by the Taliban

dr-karen-woo-pic-ap-298195405.jpg

A YOUNG British doctor murdered by the Taliban was due to fly home to get married on Friday.
Dr Karen Woo was shot dead when her international aid convoy came under fire from gunmen in a remote region of Afghanistan.
Her killers had circled the three vehicles before lining the 10 team members beside the desolate mountain road and shooting them dead, one by one.
Last night her family were *utterly heartbroken. They had been told the dreadful news while making last minute preparations for her wedding in London to boyfriend Paddy Smith, a former soldier.
Family friend Elaine Makowska, 58, revealed: Its heartbreaking, utterly tragic. The family had booked a registry office she was due to return for the wedding and then fly back to Afghanistan to continue her charity work.
Her fianc Paddy, who now works as a security contractor in Kabul, was too distraught to talk. Friends say he will fly home with her body. Karen, 36, was part of an international aid mission providing health care to desperate Afghans.
She was passionate about helping the worlds most disadvantaged people and had travelled regularly to Afghanistan since 2008. She had been in the country for eight months before the fatal trip north.
Miss Makowska added: *Recently Karen said she wanted to do some good in Afghanistan. Her mum didnt want her to go, but Karen had set her heart on it.
Her cousin Loraine Nugent said: As a doctor Karen has saved *thousands of lives. By killing her they have also killed thousands of people she would have saved.
Karen was fully aware of the dangers, but put it to the back of her mind because all she wanted to do was help.
Her devastated mother Lynn, 66, a retired psychiatric nurse, and father Tehaun, 67, a retired television service engineer, were being comforted yesterday by her *brothers David and Andrew at the family home in *Stevenage, Herts.
Karen was part of a group of aid workers which *included six Americans, a German and two Afghan *interpreters from Christian charity International *Assistance Mission. They had travelled to Nuristan in Northern Afghanistan on a two-week trip to provide health supplies and eye care to remote mountain villages.

Mr. Digital,
1. During the Registration process itself i chose the Indian flag, and it was displayed under my avatar.
You can confirm it with the administrator of the site.

2. I never pretended to be a Pakistani. My first comments were in the Introduction forum, where i started a thread and introduced myself as an Indian.

3. I would advice you to stop spreading lies and misinformation, and instead condemn the Taliban animals.

Mr. Digital,
1. Afghanistan was "left alone", your hero Mullah Omar declared himself Ameer ul Momineen and also gave shelter to Al Qaeda animals.

2. I have heard that Mullah Omar and Osama have married each others daughters. Is this true, please correct me if i am wrong.

3. Osama and party planned and carried out several attacks against the west, the most prominent being 9-11, and hence the west invaded and liberated Afghanistan.
Get your facts right my friend...
