What is not sufficient to understand is: explanation is coming from a muslim scholar about more than 14 centuries after the prophet SAW.

Why not from a tradition of the Prophet SAW or a verse of Quraan.

Can somebody describe at what age of Hazrat Ayesha RA consummation take place, if marriage took place at the age of 6 or 7?

As we go back into the older ages of history, people used to live longer life than todate e.g. Haztar Adam was 1000 years old, Hazrat Noh WAS 900 years old, Hazrat Mosis was 125 years old.

May be Hazrat Ayesha's age is not being quoted correctly.

The scholar appears to be incorrect to proving that in that age girls could reach puberty at the age of 6 or 7.

Examples he gave relates to mental growth and not physical growth as there can be a disparity between two factors but reaching puberty is a physical phenomenon which can be generalised and in vary rare cases is subject to exceptions.

This seems to be a mis-information regarding the Prophet SAW otherwise the impossible would have been explained by him and not by a scholar of the current era.

What a strange phenomenon - something relating to "the followed or the Prophet of Allah Almighty" being explained by "the follower" which cannot be held more than a fake or a concocted argument.

However, it is undeniable - customs vary from one to the other culture.

prophet Mohammad (pbuh) married more than once. Out of all marriages had only one child. Most of these marriages were to unite tribes and bring peace among them. Please some one who is knowledgeable do me a favor and explain it . thanks

This explanation is not satisfactory. The best explanation is that perhaps it was acceptable at the time in that society to be married off at practically ANY age. You don't have to try explanations like, "Oh.. at the time people used to mature fast." "Oh.. she was married but the consummation was at a much later age." Another plausible line of explanation would be that perhaps the Age is wrongfully quoted. All other lines of explanations look like they are trying to catch at straws.

My own personal view is related to the first point I made, that perhaps this was acceptable in that particular society at the time. Because had their been any issue, Aysha(ra) would've said so herself and/or history from that time would've said so itself. Instead we hear absolutely no issue about it reading from that time frame.

I won't go deep into the subject, it has been discussed several times, and only when you piece together lots of information, then you get the exact date.

But there are pointers, which indicate that She was not 6, nor 9 , but above 15 yrs (16,19 perhaps) when she got married (consumated).
Her age difference with Hazrat Fatima R.A , Age diff of Hazrat Fatima R.A and Hazrat Ali R.A, then Time of Hijrah, Her Sister Asma (10 yrs older)

The thing is, Islamic scholars are hell bent on reducing the age to 9 for their own benefits, Thats why there is confusion. Same goes for other things in Islam as well. When there is a difference, it is due to benefit of someone, not for Islam.

And don't just google it. Read saha Sitta, and some other authentic books, cross reference them and you'll get the picture.

great politician! mis(hazrat) Aysha.
[h=4]SAHIH INTERNATIONAL[/h][h=2]The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed. Quran 33.6[/h]Ab jo marzi kaho

Re: Age of Ayesha (RTA)
