Why JI is hell bent on helping MQM??? Here are few possibilities.
1. Blackmail PTI to get a better share in future seat adjustments
2. Stand and be counted with Status Quo as it is part and parcel of Old Politics
(No wonder Status Quo parties are lining up to support JI)
3. Fighting for it's own survival and trying to stay relevent in Karachi
4. Repeating their history in making wrong decisions at crucial moments
5. Nudeged and pushed by the powerful sectors to sabotage PTI's momentum
6. Replace TUQ in running a sideshow under the shadow of PTI mega events

I am surprise that being a supporter of PTI, you didn't mention that PTI and its leadership have made blunders in last few months. The Judicial commission and its present composition is exactly as the same back in August of last year when PMLN agreed upon. After wasting time, money and energy, PTI accepted the same it was offered to them in the begining. Having sheeda Tilly and TUQ beside during the sit ins only helped to erode the confident and spport of ordinary pakistani who was hoping to see a different kind of politics.
And yet, this is another blunder which will only reinforce the perception that the PTI has incompetence strategists and have no visionaries in the kit.

A journalist tongue work without cosiderations while a politician has 1000 things to consider. It couldn't be easy for PTI to give away possibilities of Mayors in karachi and Peshawer so they said no to the asking price.

This may be a single seat but of utmost importance as this is the golden opportunity to give a last push to the falling wall of tyranny.
This will be yet another feather on the cap of PTI to portray them as a truly NATIONAL party.
Azam Swati, SMQ, Sh. Rasheed, etc are old guards and possibly moles of establishment and other parties...
Inclusion and awarding of posts to these rascals could potentially be the downfall of PTI.

It is not general election , MQM will easily win it caz people know that it won't change anything, the best chance was last election or the coming one i.e when the whole country votes,some brownie points for PTI will be the margin of defeat.

PTI had a real chance to win this seat if not for JI's usual negative role in this country's history.
