Well I did not know anything about this particular thing you said below, I guess that does make him suspecious.

What a shame but Allah knows the best.
but then there is this guy on ptv, slim and smart one, can't remember his name, he has done one programme with talat hussain on eid as well, he seems genuine, although he works for ptv, I think he tries to be impartial.
I remember talat worked for ptv in musharraf time as well but then he left, working for govt institute doesn't necessarily mean you are necessarily corrupt but given such a high postion to Dr needs some clarification specially joining hands with a person like zordari who is world notorious for corruption is very questionable.

When I said that the Dr. has switched around I meant his professional affiliations with different media houses - he was even close to the president and was appointed PTV MD which is a position gifted to people who are in the good books of the powers to be....

What i can see over here in this blog or others is a blind folded hatred who ever even takes name of ppp or pml n. This is the most craziest thing to do. What cant we live with a different opinion. Why you want your opinion to be imposed on others? and who gave you right to put a verdict onany one??
What i can see is hamid meer stands for principles. If you consider them not as principles its your view point. But no one has the right to put a verdict.
Grow up there is so much hate out there in pakistan. Lets not be part of that.

I thought Hamid Mir might be on his way to Redemption after Hajj, but boy o boy, You can not get anything out of washing a piece of **** again and again. It amazes me how he continues to support Zardari & Co and this So-Called Democracy while totally ignoring what Misery this Government has caused to the People of Pakistan.

I am just going by what I have seen and read about him - I think he was with ARY then with Geo then to PTV then I dont know where but now at express tv. This guy claims to be the president of Sindh Medical College's Peoples SF unit and was supposedly forced to leave the city due to threats from MQM. He probably stayed in England (I am just rattling off things I have read or heard about him - I am sure that people here would correct or add to what I have said).

I dont care if someone who is not the best but if they are professional and are trying their best then thats enough for me - and for journalists that means that their biases dont show when they go on air or do reporting in the newspapers. But, as I said earlier - in pakistan the lines between the opinion maker/analyst/journalist are blurred.

by the way i just checked the wikipedia entry on him and here is the link - which is even more interesting how he jumped around from place to place.

hmmm, well its pakistan, all these abnormal things are normal in here.

about the biasedness, there are journalists who openly support some parties and say that they are supporting them e.g. haroon rasheed(its technically not right but I think he makes himself very clear about it which is very honest, but yes it sets bad trend in journalism), and there are the ones who say that they don't support anyone but they still do by their comments and analysis, in my view the later ones are the worst as they try to decieve people, and I think they are the reason why so many people are confused, we are a confused nation.

Now Hamid Mir is trying to say that Benazir was some Jannat ki Bibi who knew nothing about dancing clubs or Whiskey and Shahid Masood was trying to trap her. I think Hamid Mir does not need to convince people already know what kind of liberal life she has lived. And why people should beleive this mystry man Bashir Riyaz what is he some kind of prophet that people have to take his word a God's word. Really very very surprised that still people think that ppp is sincere with people of pakistan... Even after lot of corruption case's....some bro write that some forces did not allow them to work peacefull,,, but did they allow them for corruption,,, all the major institution are going to finished.

Actually its very right time to cash so Aitezaz & Hamid Mir are doing it from PPP.Both got the job to potray Benazir was actually Jannati BB,Asif Zardari the most honest person.
They also cashed the things from Nawaz Sharif/Ch Iftikhar now possibly getting better rate from AAZ.
I am deadly against both of them but to be honest they are talented know option of choosing better time to cash the things for them.
