The decision was taken at the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting held under the chair of Federal Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh to review the food items prices during Ramazan. The committee approved subsidy ranging from Rs 4 to Rs 40 on different prices at utility stores.The committee approved subsidy of Rs 4 per kg on flour, Rs 15 per kg on ghee and oil, Rs 10 per kg on dates and pulses.Now flour will be available at Rs 22.50 per kg, ghee and oil at Rs 147 per kg and milk pack at Rs 70 per liter at utility stores.Source of news : Dunyia news tvDated : 20/6/11Will government really able to do it.Will people get all these items on given rates.
