Folks from the subcontinent are called indians by race. So indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, sri lankans etc are all indians by race. A broad category but thats how Westerners think of us. We in turn see Westerners are "White people". I saw we call it even and move on.

Imo, its not about one particular thing, its the system which is unfair, controlled by those who rule. 200 years ago it wasn't like this, now every thing is centralized and there are only few people who are at the center. The rest are just slaves or cattle might be a better word, you, me, every one. They bought us for a price and we live happily/quietly in that price doing whatever the system tell us, profiting the only few. We can't or won't think out of our own circles. And even if some of us think beyond, that thinking is not collective. Thus resulting in the differences among ourselves keeping us away from the main goal that the rich 3% are rich unfairly and that the wealth needs to be distributed. Its bad right now, but soon it will get worse. The rich only care's about the cattle that profits them, the rest they don't give a _____

I am serious I would like him to tell me what would he do to change things as his first step. Weather there is world order or not I arrived in the land of opportunities US now in Canada as a peasant worked hard watched my money and I am doing fine and not slave to anyone. This land of opportunity is still the land of opportunity. Those countries he mentioned are not lands of opportunities. Bro its not rocket science you and I know what is needed in order to turn Pakistan and India into land of opportunity calling your self a slave of anyone is just a cop-out.

you know Uni...we are all slaves of at least something here....some of us make fun of others who can't speak proper english even if that person's native language is same as ours...that is slavery of mind...we are slave of that language because we think that language makes someone superior....Some are slaves of their national identity because they blindly think everything their countries do is justifiable...
yes, things are in good in terms that you work hard and if you are in a land which provides you opportunity you can do well....but take a look on the other side...aren't most of the diamonds mined by children or adults who are paid wages of a slave in a third world country? What about all the companies who are moving their business to China? Are they paying very good wages there? Obviously, its an incentive for them that they don't have to pay people there as much as they have to in western countries...In this regards, the man there is a slave of some big companies...modern day slavery does exist in some countries and you cannot deny it...(serious)

I will have to disagree. People buy goods at a price. It is upto China to impose minimum wage like they have in the lands of opportunity same goes for African countries with diamond mines. A corporation will go where it can find cheap labor and will only buy goods from who ever sells them at the best rate. Same goes for people. They want to buy goods at the lowest price. Would you buy an I phone made in Chad for $650 when you can get Chinese for $500.
A slavery is when you force people to work without paying them and give them cheap food only. I know in India people bring their small kids in brick making factories because they are desperate.
