The reality is, in Karachi, no matter what happens, either MQM or its workers are involved one way or other. They can't get along with anyone. Who ever opposes them in Karachi, these workers make their lives difficult by the order of upper leadership. Its a matter of life and death for MQM .They can't tolerate any opposition in Karachi. They have been like that for years and I don't think they are about to change now.One example you just seen and the defender of MQM started to argue that the MQM is not the only one involved.It is a fact that Mqm collect Bhutta and the workers are given certain target to achieve.I remember Kamal pasha stated that if Altaf orders, we can fold this whole system in Karachi in few hours or few weeks.This is the kind of mentallity this Mayor has about this city which he works so hard to developed.But, It all goes back to the will of one person in London and if that person in London wants bloodshed, these workers are ready for that.May 12th has proven this beyond any doubts.In order to Please Musharraf, these thugs blocked Chief Justice coming out of Air port in Karachi. I am unable to comprehend that people who see this and read it all over the media,and they are well educated and well behaved , fail to admit their mistakes and criticise their top leadership. I yet to see even one word of criticism from any of these well educated people regarding Altaf's speech in India in which he undermined Pakistan and its people. One the other hand, they are quick to defend MQM policies like a Jumping Jack.
