People who buy such overpriced mobiles don't do it because they last, they do it, because its the latest fashion statement or status symbol and hardly use it for more than a year, two at the very most if something else is taking time to release.

For myself till date I have never bought a new phone because a new more flashier one came out! I use all my phones till they conk out, only once I lost my phone and another time it was stolen and had to buy a new phone before my previous one died, ironically both of them were almost new and just a month old.

My last phone lasted me 4 years, so if this one lasts even half that I will be more than happy for what I paid for it. I've been doing large touch screen smart phones ever since the first Imate Pocket PC came out in 2004 even before the first iPhone even came out, so I've been through most and a lot of them. The worst have been HTC phones who without fail after a year die out on you for one reason or the other. I've had 4 different models at different points in time and they all lasted just about a year.

Surprisingly my built like a rock Nokia Lumia lasted on two years before it started to fall apart. And even more surprisingly my previous phone the budget Microsoft Lumia 640XL lasted me 4 years and that also the power button got stuck in the pressed position so it just keeps on switching on and off. At the same time my wifes 640 XL is still going strong and actually in very decent condition, because he knocks it around much less than I do. SO much for cheap phones not lasting!

But since unfortunately Windows Phone OS is officially dead its time she also gets a new one. I had ordered a new one online as an eid gift for her but the seller fucked up and had to cancel the order. So after Eid I'll get her a new one too.
