I must say that this is the show of the day - thank you very much for bringing such a thought provoking show with such great participants. It cleared the concept of secularism and atheism. This is correct that secularism is not atheism. There are only two states who are based on religion - Pakistan and Israel and both are always in highlights.

The point of Bishop is right that why a non-muslim but true and honest Pakistani cannot be a prime minister or president of this state even if he is more capable more as compare to muslim leaders.

This was truly a nice talk show with very interesting agenda. Everyone should be given equal rights, however Pakistan's religious base has to stay but it needs to have the reflection of true Islam which teaches us the lesson of peace and prosperity.

Islam is religion of peace, humanity, tolerance and honesty toward your people as a leader. It would be wise that all intellectuals sit down and create a framework which would help establish an infrastructure that can be based on true Islamic ideology where differentiation of people based on their religion or cast doesn’t exist.

Cheers!

great show! kamran shahid is really focusing on the key issues that are holding pakistan back! he has done one more program on this earlier on whether we should be secular or not!
i always believed that state and religion should be two separate entities! religion should be the private matter of the citizens not the main concern of the country!
to cut the long story short.....a country should be secular in order to progress!!

That fat halwakhor unwashed Mullah sitting on the stage with his shalwar tucked above his ankles talks in a very weird way.

P.S:It is quite possible that the naked ankles of these momin men incite muslim mominas lust. Can any mullah here enlighten us what does Quran say about this issue? Jazakallah!

Quran have some rules
Who will apply these rules?
If a state Apply these rules how would you call it a secular state?
if a state did not apply these rules then who will?
if a state did not apply these rules then how anyone could say that secularism is not against the religion(Islam in our case)?
