Firearms License Punjab Pakistan

Dear Forum members,

Does anybody on the forum knows how to get a new firearm license from Punjab, what is the procedure, what documents required and how long does it likely takes to get one. thanks

Edit: I recently started a dairy farm in a rural area of Punjab and my brother is looking after this as i live abroad.there have been couple of robbery incident around my place recently which made us think to have a firearm for self defence.

For those who are bashing me for not using Google, I have done that but could not find any useful information. Thats why i came to this forum and thought some one have better knowledge here.

Anyways, My brother went to local firearm dealers to get information. One can get firearm license if pay around 20 to 25k which is 5 times more than original fee. .

Next my brother went to local Kachehri got an application farm, filled it up, went to DCO office for attestation which they refuse to do so. He was told you can get firearm license only if you have a factory, limited company, mosque or church. My brother argued if that was the case, then how local arms dealers manage to get license if i pay them extra money? One of the lads from DCO office said to my brother, you should not take so much hassle just go to local arms dealer they will get one for you.

I decided to ring DCO office myself, they refused to give number to my brother and told not to waste them time!

First of all the country where 9/11 happened has that country made arms illegal ?? Or have they stopped selling it to their citizens ? Or have they made the acquisition of weapons harder ??????????

Answer is NO...so why should we !!! Problem is with illegal arms not with the arms which are acquired through legal means.

BHai there is strict ban since 2 - 3 years. Even Shikar pay ban hai, aur related firearms per b. Kabi ban khatam hua tau I will share the news. Lakin qareeb qareen kuch nahi honay laga.
