ایف آئی اے کے ذرائع نے بتایا کہ نوائے وقت کی چیف ایڈیٹر مسز رمیزہ مجید نظامی کی طرف سے دی نیشن اور نوائے وقت کے سینئر صحافیوں خواجہ فرخ سعید، اعظم بابر، احمد جمال، نعیم ملک، جمشید ملک اور محمود نعیم کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کرائی گئی کہ انہوں نے سوشل میڈیا پر ان کے خلاف گمراہ کن مواد اپ لوڈ کرکے ان کی کردار کشی کی ۔

جس پر ایف آئی اے سائبر کرائمز کے سینئر انوسٹی گیشن آفیسر رضوان نے تحقیقات کیں۔ ایف آئی اے حکام نے سینئر صحافیوں کے موبائل فون قبضہ میں لے کر ریکارڈ حاصل کر لیا۔ ملزموں کو آج مقامی عدالت میں پیش کیا جائے گا۔

LAHORE – The Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested a few journalists including Khawaja Farrukh Saeed, and Naveed Latif, President of Nawa-i-Waqt Workers Union on a complaint by the media group boss Rameeza Majid Nizami.


The arrests prompted condemnation from the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) which demanded their immediate release.


Saeed, a former chief reporter at the paper, was at the forefront of a fight for wages and dues of Nawa-i-Waqt employees.


According to reports, the FIA also arrested Abdul Wajid and Muhammad Naeem.


In her complaint, Rameeza alleged that several persons including Khawaja Farrukh Saeed had circulated her pictures on WhatsApp, Facebook and the website sahafe.com without her permission in a malicious, derogatory and harassing manner. She pointed out that it posed a threat to her safety.


PFUJ President G.M.Jamali and Secretary-General Rana Muhammad Azeem said that demanding wages was not a crime.


They called on Arshad Ansari, President of Lahore Press Club and Chairman of the Action Committee to convene a meeting and chalk out a course of action over the arrests.


President Punjab Union of Journalists, Shahzad Hussain Butt, and Secretary Ashraf Majeed also condemned the action and demanded a befitting response.


The union leaders (pictured) later visited the FIA Cybercrime Wing to show their support for their colleagues in distress.

This Rameeza Nizami is Ferrari's best friend. Ganja's have given 50+ Billions (ارب) for her Newspaper and news channel Waqat. Yes Billions. She needs to come out from closet and verify this claim.
And these goons failed to take care of their hard working employees. NAB/FIA must look into this matter.

Here is an old video for abuse by Nation-Nawa-i-Waqat against their own hard working employees. As I mentioned previous govt gave them 50+ Billions and still they didn't pay salaries and also with this "Arboon Ka Teeka ki RISHWAT", still they shut down Waqat channel and not paying their employees any past due salaries.
The current Government and PSC must look in to this matter. The Journalist are being harrassed by FIA.
WHY?
Is there a crime to raise your voice for your rights. Instead of OWNER in the jail, FIA playing a party to punish people for speaking up for their rights.
