Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) (Urdu/Arabic/Persian: ?????? ????? ????, "Islamic Organization of Students"), is an independent students' organization in Pakistan. Jamiat was founded on 23 December 1947 in Lahore, Pakistan to spread ideals of decency among the public and glorify the image of Islam in colleges and university campuses across Pakistan. Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba is one of the few organizations in Pakistan that are not based on language and ethnic origin. The feminine counterpart of the same ideology but with a separate structure and organisation is known as Islami Jamiat-e-Talibaat.:alhamd::jazak:pbuh
