Touts of MQM. How Mahajir Soba is Possible ,they don't have majority in Karachi . Only 40% population of Karachi is Mahajir. And they are claiming for 50% of Sindh.
Even in Karachi ,Union councils 1,12,17 and 18 are not mahajir areas.and MQM never won NA,PA seats from those areas of karachi.
On What basis they are claiming for Sindhi regions like Umer Kot,Mirpur Khas ,Thar parkar,Badin ,Hyderabad (Ruler) , and half Dadu.

Obviously these people have not been properly convinced or educated and the result is a very disorganized movement. This will not go very far but possibly break MQM in two parts and divide its vote bank. I see PPP and PMLN winning numorous seats from Karachi in next election.
There is also a chance that this movement is secretly initiated and supported by either PMLN, sindi separatists or PPP to break MQM's strong vote bank.

Ek baat achi kahi thi ek activist ne key agar Muhajir sooba bana tab bhi Karachi ki diversity per koi asar nahi padega,aur yeh key Muhajir Sooba Tehreek ne Pakistan Zindabad ka naara bhi humesha lagaya. Baqi in hazarat mein se ek ladke ne sahi baat kahi thi key Karachi kabhi bhi Sindh ki administration ke under nahi raha before creation of Pakistan,it was a part of Bombay Presidency aur Britishers ne is shehar ko develop kiya tha not some rural Sindhi feudal.Plus, Karachi has been witnessing migrations not since 1947 but 19th century. Karachi aur rural Sindh ke beech mein jo difference develop hua hai,yeh asal mein 150 saal ki evolution hai aur is basis per I support separation of Karachi from Sindh on administrative basis not ethnic. I myself hail from an Urdu Speaking family and Muhajirs/Urdu Speakings have been contributing a lot for Pakistan but I cannot ignore contributions of my Punjabi,Baloch,Memon and Pashtun brothers too when it comes to history and development of the city for past 6 decades.
Baqi in main se buhat se loog zara ghalti karrahe hain yeh kehkar key Punjabiyoun ka kuch nahi gaya partition ke waqt,agar aisa hota tau Jalandhar aur Gurdaspur mein itne Muslims nahi marte after partition....plus one can easily see present population of Muslims in Indian states of (East)Punjab,Haryana and Himachal Pradesh(the latter two were also a part of Indian Punjab earlier), and then compare them with present percentage or population of Muslims in U.P. and Bihar alone.
Plus, ek aunty zor zor se kehrahi thein key koi Muhajirs ko nahi poochta.Agar koi Muhajiroun ko nahi poochta tau Pervaiz Musharraf kaun tha,Jawed Miandad,Saeed Anwar aur Asif Iqbal kaun thay,Mohammad Ali aur Nadeem jaise actors kaun thay,Moin Akhtar aur Anwar Maqsood bhi Muhajir thay.Muhajir Supreme Court mein high ranks per even Cheif Justice bhi rehchuke hain (for example Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui)...us per bhi itni kadwahat ,shikayat aur ghussa.

Could be possible. I am not a supporter of MQM myself but they do have a votebank.Plus, there were people among them who were not happy or upset with Altaf Hussain and MQM saying that they are suppose to raise our demands but they aren't doing so.It could be a work/tactic of MQM-Haqiqi too. I would say that let the present government complete its tenure else God forbade but if any coup happens then plans of even division of Punjab will be shelved for another decade.
