Akbar Babar tries to act as the saviour of PTI with a Holier than thou attitude as he spits out venomous lies and twists facts! The reality is that Akbar Babar is a bitter crook out to do a hatchet job on PTI because he was thrown out.
The conversation between Mr. Naeem-ul-Haq and Akbar Babar is give below in the e-mail and it clearly shows Akbar Babar's intentions at the time and which persist today as he grows ever more frustrated professionally and politically.

Dear Dr. Alvi:
As you are aware the core Committee in its meeting at Lahore on August 27 had asked me to communicate with Akbar S Babar and convey to him its decision regarding his responsibilities as Vice President Media Affairs.
I was subsequently asked by the Chairman to offer him a continued role as Political Advisor while resigning from his position as VP Media Affairs.
Earlier today, with this mandate, I contacted Akbar S Babar and we agreed to meet at 4 p.m. At 3.30 p.m; he called and enquired about the purpose of the meeting.
I told him that I had been asked to convey the decision of the Core Committee about him relinquishing his role as Vice President Media Affairs. At this, he responded angrily saying that the Chairman should talk to him directly and it was pointless meeting for this purpose. I then decided to tell him on phone that the Core Committee wanted him to resign his position as VP Media Affairs and that the Chairman is willing to let him play a role as Political Advisor.
Thereafter, he embarked upon a vituperative tirade and said the following:
1. I'll destroy Imran Khan and demolish completely his political stature;
2. I'll drag the Chairman and his paid servants Saif Ullah Niazi and Amer Kiani in the streets of Islamabad;
3. I have been insulted by the Chairman and his cronies whom I'll expose along with their conspiracies to destroy this party;
4. He further said that the Chairman thinks that he is the owner of the party and the party members are his servants whereas the party belongs not to him, but its members;
5. The language and the manner of communication, especially towards the Chairman, was extremely abusive and demeaning which, in my opinion, is unforgiveable and unacceptable.
6. Akbar S Babar kept abusing the Chairman and other members of the party throughout the duration of our conversation.
In the light of the above, I strongly recommend that Akbar S Babar should be immediately removed from all his party positions as his diatribe and threats of physical violence against the Chairman and other party office bearers have made him lose his legitimacy to be a member of the party.

Akbar,after reading Naeems email ,I needed a couple of days to cool down so I could give u a rational response . Firstly I need to put the record straight about treating people in the party as my personal staff . Had that been the case ,I would never have put up with your insulting behaviour towards me on so many occasions in the last decade .
Since the cause was bigger than me ,and since I felt that u were one of the most important members of the pti team , I prevailed on the "self" and even pandered to u on occasions for the sake of the cause . Not only were u dealing with all significant pol figures interested in pti ,but made u head the media . Unfortunately I was disappointed . First u became a divisive force. Rather than carrying people with u ,u alienated them . Rather than behaving like a leader and getting everyone on the same platform ,u divided the party. U cast allegations of such a serious nature against those senior party diehards that had sacrificed far more than u for the cause . And when there was a total media disaster on our most successful event ,u lashed out at others rather than gracefully take the blame .
And finally your reaction to Naeem when he delivered the core comm decision to u . The spite u reserved for me ,I must say shocked me . I still am bewildered as to what could have done to u ,to earn such venom that spewed out of u against me . But since the cause is bigger than me , I can get over it . However ,your threat to destroy me (and hence the party) is a little more alarming . It means that all your sacrifices in the past 15years were not for pti but Akbar Babar .
Now it seems as if pti was just a means for u to get places .....and if there was any threat to your position ,then PTI be damned . From now onwards we will take different paths . Whatever the party decides ,I will have nothing to do with u for the rest of my life

- After the 2002 elections Akbar Babar tried to push Imran Khan into accepting a ministerial position in Musharraf's govt - the education and health portfolios - so that Akbar could get lucrative consultancies and contracts. He was furious when Khan did not agree on principle.
- After the 2002 elections Akbar Babar tried to manipulate things so that the MMA would support him to become a senator from Balochistan and when that move failed he left PTI.
- Finding nowhere to park himself politically, he returned in 2011 when PTI's graph was rising.
- Akbar Babar also went into a business deal with PTI senior leaders Col Yunus Ali Raza, Sardar Azhar Tariq, Aamir Kiani and Asad Ansari. Akbar Babar got the contract signed on his personal company with a promise to make all these people directors in the company but ditched them as soon as the deal was finalized.
- Akbar Babar was also suspended from UN agency on charges of Sexual Harassment.
- Akbar Babar was finally thrown out of PTI in 2011 after his communication with Mr. Naeem-ul-Haque, who was authorised by the PTI Core Committee to communicate with him, in which he threatened to destroy Imran Khan and drag him in the streets of Islamabad.
