Hi guys,
I was debating with this Indian guy Anoop on Express Tribune Blog, "I'm not ready to live in Imran's Pakitan."
This guy was going on and on about how "democratic" India is and how Pakistan is going down hill. I challenged him by telling him that according to UN Report Indian poverty level is higher than Pakistan. I did not attached the article which was published in telegraph. This guy in response applied every dirty trick available to distract from this FACT and instead rambled on how Pakistani are lagging so much behind and could never achieve India's "true democracy" and attached this UN report which was to prove me wrong that Indian poverty level is higher than Pakistan. It was 75 paged document so he didn't think I was going to read it but put it there because he wanted his reply to "appear" authentic. I however, read it. The document talked about the future growth which is being expected in 20 years. It did not refute my claim. So, in response, I revealed his "fake" argument and linked the factual report published in telegraph. I debunked his other laughable claims in this response but Express Tribune Blog wouldn't publish my response. I tried atleast four times and emailed them twice already. No response whatsoever.
What does that mean? Besides, it very actively publish blogs that are out to crush any sign of hope for a better Pakistan which begs the question, Is Express Tribune out to glorify India in the mind of Pakistanis?

I need to clarify something here because some people are trying to give my thread an angle. I do not hate Indians or India. I detest the hateful ideologies churned out by fanatic religious nut jobs on either side.
I am debating with this Indian guy Anoop who lives under this delusion that India is a true democracy. He adamantly maintains that "all is well" in their current system and is rather smug about it too. So, I wanted to direct his attention to the fact that 162 out of 522 member of parliament in India have criminal charges against them. That is a whopping 31%. Furthermore, almost 50% of these charges are serious offences such as rape and murder. You can judge their freedom of speech by the fact that in 2010 alone, 12 whistle blowers belonging to Right To Information (RTI) organization have been murdered.

Even after economical growth of India, it is only the Ambanis of India who are building 27 storey tower costing 670 million pound. The people of India remain poorer than people of Pakistan ( a country, Anoop believes is a failed state).
Furthermore, as for the status of minorities, the picture is not so rosy in that department either. We all know about the Hindu-Muslim riots in India. The fact that there is half a million Indian soldiers deployed in Kashmir. The mass unmarked graves in Kashmir. Christians also suffer at the hands of Hindu extremists but no, CNN, BBC and Sky TV will not talk about that. Links to torching and raping of Christians in India are give below.

So, all I wanted to do was show him that just claiming something is not going to cut it. The FACTS point to something else. Not only that but I wanted Pakistanis to know the actual scenario in India as well.
Recently, I see this trend in Pakistan where some people are questioning the wisdom of Pakistan's creation. This is a carefully crafted propaganda. They incessantly talk about how Pakistan is declining and how mullahs are about to hijack Pakistan. They talk about the problems and not the solutions and create hopelessness among Pakistanis. On the other hand, they sing praises of India's wonderful democracy, economical growth, freedom of speech and religious tolerance. They create this perfect picture of India based on myths and block everything that point against it. So, that Pakistanis can come to the conclusion that separating from India was really a mistake.
So, my question again
Is Express Tribune out to glorify India? If the answer is no, then why does it keep blocking my comments that expose Indian corruption?
I want to reiterate that I don't wish India any ill. I take no pleasure in their miseries caused by their corrupt system. I hope they fix their system. As for Pakistan, we also need to think and act constructively. We need to work towards solving our problems by fixing corruption in our country. Both Pakistan and India can work with each other for a better future WHILE respecting each other's sovereignty.
Thanks!
