Re: Notorious Taji Khokhar responsible for Rawalpindi Massacre
- Firstly one tweet claims that Taji khokar belongs to PMLN which is completely false. Taji Khokar's gang fired upon NS's car when he was coming to Islamabad.
Rawalpindi
How the time took a sharp U-turn when the people witnessed acme of land grabbers in the near past and the crowns of Rawalpindi and Islamabad police used to be at land of the Khokhar House in uniform to salute the mighty chieftain but they conducted raid at the Daira for the first time in the history of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and arrested him.
Even, in the current regime, SSP of Islamabad Police along with SHO (Golra Police Station), visited the Khokhar House on SHOs car during the second week of July to salute him and ensure his loyalty with the chieftain, knowing that the time has changed and he would be removed from his office any time.
Regardless of the official authorities, the Islamabad Police, particularly, always performed as knaves and slaves of the mafia chiefs and provided them licence to kill. But, now, the authorities have decided to reopen account of each offence committed by the mighty land mafias and reinvestigate all killing cases which were hushed up by the unaccountable police in the past.
Property tycoon Taji Khokhars arrest was talk of the town after the arrest of the SHO (Airport) Aziz Aslam Niazi, who illegally favoured Taji Khokhar and submitted an investigation report before the anti-terrorist court, bypassing JIT, declaring Taji Khokhar, his two sons Umar Khokhar and Farrukh Khokhar and two others innocent when the Punjab government had constituted a joint investigation team (JIT) and the team was investigating the murder case.
Sabra Bibi was gunned down on 17 August, 2012 on the dispute of a piece of land at Dhoke Gangal. The Airport police registered FIR (No.643) under sections 302/324/148/149 and 427 PPC against nine people including Taji Khokhar, his two sons Umar Khokhar and Farrukh Khokhar, Irfan alias Nikko, Anwar-ul-Haq, Ramzan alias Bana, Saghir, Hassan and Javaid on the complaint of Sabras husband Mohammad Yaqoob.
Certainly, the Sabra Bibi murder case has taken right direction for conclusion and the law enforcing agencies of Rawalpindi and Islamabad have decided to open unresolved killing cases.
The court has handed Taji Khokhar over to the Rawalpindi police on three-day physical remand on Saturday. Taji Khokhar, while talking to a group of media people in front of anti-terrorist court said that he was on bail granted by the court of law but the police arrested him. He said that he was suffering from serious ailment and needed treatment. According to the Islamabad Police sources, two fresh killing cases would be taken up immediately which the police tried to hush up in past.
A security guard of one land grabbing group gunned down the private guard of another group to show their might on 23 July, but the police kept their eyes closed and hushed up the killing case.
According to SHO (Koral Police Station) Mobarik Manj, the killer and victim belonged to Afghanistan and took the dead body to the their ancestral area, claiming that the killer would be arrested when he will come back after the burial.
The other incident took place on 19 July at Dhoke Gangal near Ghori Town when allegedly, gunmen of Taji Khokhar gunned down young son of an Imam Masjid, Khalid Farooq, 32, resident of Amarpura, on a land dispute.
Ishtiaq-ul-Saleheen lodged a complaint with the Koral Police Station saying that he was present on his land along with his son Khalid Farooq and brothers including Anis-ul-Saleqeen and Shamsul-ul-Arifeen when Imran son of Allah Ditta, Sajid, Tanvir son of Khan Mohammad Mistri, equipped with lethal weapons, came there and opened firing on Khalid and ran away after killing his son on the spot, adding, while Rashed son of Abdur Razzaq hurled threats of dire consequence, a few minutes before the attack. He said that the gangsters killed his son with the connivance and order of Taji Khokhar.
The police have registered FIR (No. 41) against Imran, Sajid, Tanvir, Rashed and Taji Khokhar under sections 302/34 and 109 PPC but the investigation was not initiated. Saleheen told the media that the group has already occupied his 150 kanal of land near Ghori Town and an FIR has already been registered against four people including Taji Khokhar, Afzal Khokhar, Abdul Rhman Ghori and Raja Ali Akbar but they obtained stay order from the court of law against the registration of FIR.
The Islamabad Police will also reopen the case of attack on Nawaz Sharifs rally on 27 December 2007 when Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.
According to the report being compiled by the agencies, gunmen of Taji Khokhar opened firing on the rally of Mian Nawaz Sharif when the rally was crossing through the Islamabad Expressway, right in front of Koral Police Station killing four participants of PML-N rally Umar Khayam, Imran, Shahid and Afzaal right at the time when PPPs chairperson Benazir Bhutto was attacked by terrorist outfit and killed in a suicide bombing. Mian Nawaz Sharif narrowly escaped in the attack.
The Koral Police registered a case (FIR No. 101) under sections 302/324/148/149 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and 7 of anti-terrorist act (ATA), the sources said adding that sub inspector (SI) Mohammad Anaar, as inquiry officer, investigated the high profile case and send the challan to PDSP Branch on 28th January, 2008, with the shortest period of just month, giving benefit to the accused party.

Keep in mind that only PMLN has taken a stance against Taji Khokhar both Musharraf and Zaradri were on very good terms with him. Attack on NS was widely reported in media I have only linked the latest article I could find.
