Im not comparing the viruses. Im comparing the ability of a country to react when there is an outbreak. If you remember the 1990s HIV was a growing epidemic that many countries failed to contain.

Some jahils like Nelson Mandela completely ignored it and at one point a mid income country like South Africa had 25% of its population infected by HIV. For comparison if 25% of Chinese population had Corona Virus it would be 260 million infections instead of 8000.

And we can both agree that HIV is much more dangerous than Corona

One is a chronic disease that is spread sexually and the other one is an acute ailment that is transmitted through droplets.

It is extremely difficult to contain the spread of highly infectious airborne diseases under best of circumstances.

So, the Chinese found a cure for this virus ? Would the Pakistanis survive staying there ? It is a responsibility of the Governemnt to take care of their citizens . No matter how hard and how expensive it gets, one has to spend money and get the resources ready to take care of those who are infected. No country has treatment for Corona virus. Not China or USA. Most patients recover on their own without medication in a few days or weeks.

So just keep them in quarentine seperated from other patients. There are many facilities in Pakistan that can do that.

Instead of being scared of it, its better to face it and learn from it. These virus outbreaks are happening very often and we have to prepare for them sooner or later.

Canada learned from the SARs outbreak and those same facilities are making sure that they are completely ready to tackle NaCarona Virus.

Quarantine is not some rocket science, its an old medical practise dating back centuries. Currently Pakistan is already started screening people at airports and shifting them to quarantine if they show symptoms of Wuhan virus. One of the hospitals being used is PIMS.

Name one facility where the people can be quarantined in Pakistan .... isolated and not in touch with other people .... Since a droplet infection can spread to others by only 10 -15 min contact , give solution to an epidemic should it God Forbid occur in Pakistan next month by bringing back the students ......

I agree with you . Not only that Pakistan doesn't have any such facility, getting some in emergency basis is out of questions during the Bongi era . I don't know why I thought that the Bongi khan is real revolutionary . He is already suggesting a cemetery is the only quite and rest place for Pakistanis.
