Afghanistan receives more aid than Pakistan. So you are comparing two aid recipient countries whose economy survive on aid from US and the rest of the world.

Pakistan is heading towards a full scale default and crisis which may trigger internal civil war as a direct result of that and there are enough arms with in the country to keep it going for few years any way.

My comment was only specific to Afghanistan.Other countries you have mentioned rely on their economy through export and less on aid.Then it all come down to the government whether they are serious about strengthening the economy.Sadly this is not case.Corruption,law and order, mismanagement and incompetency is eroding away our crumbling economy.
