The population of Sweden is around 10m which is smaller than Lahore yet Sewden produces advance figter jets,cars and trucks,telecoms equipment,produces its own steel and builds nuclear power plants.Sweden has 8 nuclear power plants.The populations of other Nordic countries are tiny and they too are very advanced.What is the secret?.Highly trained manpower( engineers,scientists,technicians ) and very democratic and egalitarian governments.Had Pakistan invested in people in the last 40 years we would have been in a much better position now.At least we would have been more self-reliant than we are.Our biggest mistake was to let thieves like Nawaz and Zardari to run our governments.
