Esa Naqvi about Cha Bahar project and India's misery continues to grow

I had been following the geo strategic developments in the gulf region for quite sometime, specially in the context of the roles of india and iran viz a viz Pakistan. I do not find any plausible reason for hyperactive jubilation on this count (just like patwaris eating rusgullas before knowing the actual details) as iran has merely suspended the role of india in the construction of this railway line for the time being only, I repeat time being only. However, billions of US dollars of india's investment, protected by the international treaties, conventions and laws, in the development of the cha bahar port infrastructure and other development projects related to the port are already there and still continue to the detriment of our Gawadar port and Pakistan's strategic defense and economic interests. These two countries are still hand in glove to harm Pakistan, one overtly and the other one covertly in the guise of a so called friend.
This little development is just a hogwash, nothing to celebrate.

This naqvi guy, who proclaims himself as an expert on foreign affairs is a person with below average IQ. If you check his videos his main purpose, ALWAYS is to glorify iran just for nothing, even in some instances bringing iran into equation where that country has nothing to do with it..... and starts glorifying it. When he started making his videos I cautioned him to stay away from his dubious unnecessary praises for iran and not to indulge in false propaganda for that country as he will expose himself too soon because people are not fools. His videos on Saudi iran conflict are always lopsided and full of his imaginations and fabricated concoctions.

Bottom line, reject these types of agenda oriented so called foreign policy "experts".

Right that he exaggerated and prolonged the mater to convey his own conclusions and leave his favorite impression. But not sure about his personal bias. maybe he is not looking any deep. Anti-arab propaganda has become a fashion in Pakistan. Some media groups especially Dawn has been engaged in this campaign for decades and it has a negative impact on overall discourse in Pakistani.

However 300 bil iran-china deal is significant and will have long-term impact in the region. Indo-Iran deal is about 4-year old. portrayed as Indian trade corridor to Central Asia and Russia besides Afghanistan. But situation is altered after US withdrawal and much depends upon the final deal in Afghanistan and what Russians ultimately want/get in Afghanistan. Sure Indians have invested huge and have guarantees, and mulla-led ran is as unreliable and ambitious as ever but what spell 300 bil deal would cast on indo-iran liaison!!!

I'm not into any sectarianism, neither I like it nor I endorse it, and on top of it, its not me, that is not my style. I always expect a civilized professional debate on any subject as educated Pakistanis. If I do not have a command on any given subject I have the moral courage to admit that, and graciously agree with my opponent. However, my heart just bleeds to see few misguided rabid strays knowing nothing on a given issue which may have far reaching consequences for our motherland, starts jumping up and down if anyone talks about iran. The type of profanity and vulgarity and naked abuses you come across from them on this forum is really unprecedented, I have never heard these type of slurs ever in my life.
That being said, my observation about this naqvi guy is in the backdrop of my personal interaction with him on the youtube. Like I said earlier on, he stupidly tries to twist everything trying to glorify "i-ran".

I also agree with you on this China Iran deal. And yes, it is true it will have far reaching consequences in the geo strategic power dynamics on the planet earth. It is my considered opinion that if Imran keeps on leading this country from the front for one additional term, I have no 2nd thought in saying that Pakistan will shine as a very respectable and a reliable partner in the comity of the nations. China, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey (plus Russia) all put together will be a formidable combination to reckon with. Don't forget Turkey under Tayyip Erdogan after 2023. Bosphorus plus the plans for the new canal in Turkey will change the entire world. Sooner or later, the Gulf States together with Saudia Arabia will have no other choice but to revise their policies in the event they desired to remain relevant. India by virtue of its policies based on expansionism and hate mongering will be the biggest loser in this new world order. China has already rolled the dice in that direction on its thousands of miles of its common border with India from Sikkim to Laddakh. The clock has already started ticking... now it's just a matter of time, and time is a great physician.
