This is very unusual therefore it was such a news.These things should not happen.Some People have perception that Muslims are involved in criminal activity. Even Europe, US & Australia, suburbs which has large number of Muslims usually have very low house prices (as nobody wants to live there) and high crime rate. I don't know why this happens but i believe this is wrong.

Wow it's not an isolated incident, it has happened to many muslim bollywood stars and yes imagine what ordinary muslims will be like in India. Blaming perception that most world think about muslims is crap what about hindu terrorists involved in Gujrat riots, samjhota express killing.....

I love what Zaid Hamid says 100% truth and yes I have spent time with tons of Indians and have talked to them about India and their life standard back in India. Sorry to break the news I am not saying this because I am Pakistani but yes this is correct our cities are far cleaner than your slumps, our people have far far better standard of living and people are way richer than govt. You can say our government is poor but not people.
Just deal with it, our only menace is at the borders with afghanistan which we are dealing with it. India is ahead of only few things like KANJHAR KHANA, PROSTITUTION, TV channels...TRUE BUT SAD STORY

Dont waste your time discussing on this just silly topics, there are far bigger things in life to worry about. If these people dont have home / house /bungalow or flat then where the hell they stay now. They need a flat in every city.

A police complaint has been filed against actor Emraan Hashmi and director Mahesh Bhatt. The complaint has accuses the duo of trying to divide people on religious lines.
"Why are Emraan Hashmi and Mahesh Bhatt creating a communal divide all of a sudden between two communities? Mahesh Bhatt was portraying himself as secular all these while but now he is giving statements in communal tone. This should be investigated,"
Meanwhile, MD Suvarna, from whom Hashmi wanted to buy the flat, has also clarified that he had dropped the idea of selling his flat to the Bollywood actor.
Hashmi has accused Nibbana Cooperative Society at Mumbai's Pali Hill of not allowing him to buy an apartment there because he's a Muslim. Hashmi has filed a complaint with the Maharashtra Minorities Commission. He has also said that this is not the first time he has had problems finding a house.
Maharashtra Minorities Commission Vice-Chairman Abraham Mathai said the Commission had sent a notice to the housing society. On the other hand Nibbana Housing Society which was at the receiving end of actor Emraan Hashmi's allegations of practicing "religious discrimination" has demanded an apology from the actor for leveling the "baseless allegations" which has caused them "immense damage".
Society Secretary Capt J P Chhetry told PTI that the actor was denied a NOC for flat ownership because he had not followed the proper procedures and not because of his religion as alleged.
"The owner had leased his flat to a German national. He had casually told us that after the lease term ends, he plans to sell his flat. He had not made a formal application that he wishes to sell the flat to the actor. The mandatory police clearance along with necessary documents had not been submitted to the society," said Chhetry.
He said that a meeting of the society residents was held on Saturday and it was decided that an apology will be demanded from the actor for making allegations of religious profiling.
"We will not take this lying down and we are also taking legal opinion" he said adding that the society was yet to receive the summons sent by the State Minorities Commission.
