I told him that we all Pakistanies are unanimous that we should make Pakistan free of weapons ... and also LAW should be above all criminals and parties.
This wish is very good, but equally difficult to be achieved.

People totally misunderstood Altaf Hussain.
Altaf Hussan wants that:
1. There should be PEACE between Pakistan and India.
2. Both countries should work for their poor population instead of fighting each other.
3. Visas should be made easy. Partition was the Division of Muslim Blood and they are suffering the most. Half families are here and rest half is across the hostile borders.
4. No one from Karachi want to re-migrate to India (or at least no Mass Migration). But in individual cases, there will be some migration as many People still have strong families and lands and a lot of relatives in India. But big (very big) majority will not re-migrate to India at any cost.
And internally, Altaf Hussain wants following in Pakistan:
1. The rights of People of Karachi should be secured. In name of present Provincial System, Karachi is ruled by some Wadayrah which is elected in interior Sindh and knows nothing about Karachi. That is why no development took place in last 50 years in Karachi. But as soon as people of Karachi got hands to their own fate in name of City government, then Karachi made an exemplary progress.
2. Altaf Hussain does not want separate country. This is a false accusation. There may be a demand of separate Province, but for sure no demand for another country. But our opponents are constantly blaming us wrongfully and in the end, this will never produce good results for Pakistan.

No. Last one was my grand father whom I saw talking about India and missing it. He died shortly too.

Buttom line of this discussion is karachi is part of pakistan,every pakistani has right to come here like any other cities make his residence legally not encroaching or land grabing which is not allowed anywhere in world,De weaponisation all over the country bcz if you keep any part indemity it will move by arms mafia needs strict ban,no artificial political manouvering,other political parties should free to come & work in karachi give alternates, show their interest in karachites problem rather doing haram khori adopting easy way do operation clear the field for us like haqiqi.
