Whats up with people!!! When Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri entered politics in the late 90's, people went about to say that he is good as an Islamic Scholar and should interfere into politics. A few years later he left politics and focused on his research. The reason why he didn't stay in Pakistan for his research is because when he was in Pakistan, people would come to meet him every single day so he couldn't focus on his research. So he decided to go to Canada for some to in order to complete his research.
Now for the thick headed people who say he went to Canada for fame then I would suggest you do some research. Out of all countries in the western world, he has most followers in UK. There are center's upon center's of Minhaj-ul-Quran in UK, so if he really wanted fame, money etc then he would have settled in the UK but NO, he wasnt in search for fame, money etc, he was in search for a place where he could seclude and do his research without being disturbed by people hence he went to Canada. Also while you are doing you research, you may come to know that when he decided to go to Canada, there weren't many Minhaj-ul-Quran center's there and for Gods sake there aren't even many Muslims there compared to the UK and USA.
So I would advise some of you guys to stop it with the hatred and jealousy because you guys know that the amount of work Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has done, no other person has done in this time. Name me one person who has done as much as work as him and as much as quality as him.
And by the way if anyone didn't realise, I SUPPORT DR TAHIR-UL-QADRI. I DON'T SEE HIM PARTICIPATING IN THE ELECTIONS SO I WONT SAY THAT I WOULD VOTE FOR HIM BUT I DO SUPPORT HIM IN ALL HIS NOBLE CAUSES.
