DON'T YOU AGREE NO MEDIA PROGRAM ON NIGHT BEFORE ELECTION?

I think its time to modify elections rule and stop all election related media program on last night before election day!

not only hamid mir but kamran khan and others were all mentioning his relation with musharaf, association with zardari , his statements in the past about ppp, his role in lal masjid...

any way .....what is done is done
we definitely need rules to control media ..which has made itself a power and is not always used rightly

I just wanna say that some of the media has played a very negative role in bi-elections of NA-55, particulaly Hamid Mir's Capital Talk was utterly anti Sheikh Rasheed, it was a lethal example of a charater assasination campaign of a relatively popular public figure in Pakistani politics. I'm from NA-55 myself and I'm not a very big supporter and admirer of him (as I support IK),but all my sympathese are with Sh. Rasheed against the media culprits, I think Hamid Mir's crediblity has been smashed by his own dirty hands, he has proven himself to be currupt, guilty, and disgusting and specially Geo tv's song playing (ja apni hasratoun pe.......) on Sh.Rasheed after the result b4 his press conference was absolutely nasty and disrespectful. These black sheep are exposing their agendas with their own bare hands, regretfully I'm begining to think about the prospect of all those stories which we heard about Hamid Mir (ref to Zaid Hamid views) being a truth. I'll try never to watch hi program again.......

Observer has a point. Hamid Mir is a very suspicious character....

I have stopped watching his show over 6 months ago because I think he is biased.

absolutley. If I had the power, I would make it illegal to discuss starting Fri 10PM if the elections were to be held Mon. Give the voters 60 hours of breathing space before voting.

but would people follow the rule? yes they would because I would make it punishable by lashes. I do not beleive in monetary penalties
