No , Quran doesn’t confirm it but Quran also doesn’t deny it . One thing Quran states “ then we choose Adam” ( Sumastafa Adam’a ) which gives an indication that Adam was selected from some specie but it’s not explicitly confirms or negates it ....Allah knows best.

"Created you in successive stages" refers to development in stages of human embryo in the womb. It has nothing to do with evolution. All Allah (swt) has to say: "Be and It is" (Quran 2-117, 3-59, 16-40, 40-68).

Don't know what this woman is talking about and how she is relating evolution to the Quran.
