Do not attach Your Heart to Other then Allah​

Imam Ibn Taimiyyah said: " Anyone whose heart is attached to the creation, hoping for someone from the creation to help or provide for him or guide him, then his heart submits to them and to the degree that his heart submits to them he becomes their slave. This holds true, even if he is outwardly a ruler or a guardian over those whom he treats as masters. The wise one looks at realities and not at appearances. So if a man's heart is attached to his wife, even though that is permissible, his heart remains a prisoner to her, and she may rule over him as she pleases - though outwardly he is her master and her husband. In reality, he is her prisoner and her slave, especially if she knows how much he is in need of her and how much he is in love with her and how much he feels that she cannot be replaced by anyone else. At that point, she rules over him as the tyrant master rules over his subjugated slave, who cannot escape or go free. Indeed for the heart to be taken as a prisoner is a much greater matter than for the body to be taken as a slave or prisoner. Even a body that is a slave can have in it a serence and peaceful and happy heart. As for the heart that is a slave to other then Allah (the Exalted), then that is true humiliation, imprisonment and slavery."

"Then those who believe in him (Muhammad) honor him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: They are the successful."

-the Holy Quran (7:157)​

May I ask how do you follow the Prophet's pbuh pledge ?
Should I use my heart or my Toung?
Holy Quran has many reference for the Human Heart some I would like to share...

"The Hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts."

6. To Receive Guidance
"And whosoever believeth in God, He guideth his heart. And God is knower of all things." -the Holy Quran (64:11)

And God said:
Most surely there is a reminder in this for him who has a heart or he gives ear and is a witness.

7. Negligence

"And obey not him whose heart we have made heedless of Our Remembrance, who followeth his own lust."

-the Holy Quran (18:28)




8. Certainty and Tranquility

"Verily in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest."
-the Holy Quran (13:28)

"He it is who sent down peace of reassurance into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith unto their faith."
-the Holy Quran (48:4)

9. Anxiety and Conflict

They alone ask leave of thee who believe not in God and the Last Day, and whose hearts feel doubt, so in their doubt they waver."

-the Holy Quran (9:45)

10. Blessing and Kindness
"And places compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him."

-the Holy Quran (57:27)​

"He it is who supporteth thee with His Help and with the believers. And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts."

Soundness and Sickness of Heart
"In their hearts is a disease, and God increaseth their disease."

-the Holy Quran (2:10)

"But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it only addeth wickedness to their wickedness."

-the Holy Quran (9:125)​

"And when the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease were saying: God and His Messenger promised us naught but delusion."

-the Holy Quran (33:12)​

"And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race towards them, saying: We fear lest a change offortune befall us."

-the Holy Quran (5: 52)

"Have they not traveled in the land, and have they hearts where with to feel and ears wherewith to hear ? For indeed it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts, which are within the bosoms, that grow blind."

I would only say at this point that do not restrict your heart to one purpose. If you refer to Medical science, Human heart has four chambers..

Why not let it be shared between Allah his Prophet and if possible with my 2 year old Daughter. Who always seems to have a Ton of smiles for me.

Boss, you need to repy to my post based on the following Quran verse..... I am not interested in Shariah... you need to base your reasoning based on the Verse mentioned below....
