PTI govt drowns KPK with Rs 3 trillion loans
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has been indebted to a loan of around Rs 3 trillion burdening the people of KP.
PTI’s Central Deputy Secretary Information Shaukat Yousufzai while talking to Geo News, revealed that the whooping amount borrowed by the KP government would take decades to be repaid. He said that the amount would be generated from the projects for which the money had been borrowed.
Yousufzai shared that the reason behind the loan was due to the Centre not giving funds to KP on time. According to the documents available with Geo News, the PTI government borrowed Rs 41.88 billion from Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Bus Rapid Transit alone while the rest was being spent on Pehur High-Level Canal in Swabi, solarisation of basic health units, schools and electricity.
Apart from this amount, the KP government is waiting to receive another huge amount from World Bank and ADB of Rs 2 trillion for 10 other projects.
The document also reveals that the government has borrowed more than the previous government Awami National Party(ANP) did in KP. The ANP government during their tenure in 2007-2013 had borrowed approximately Rs 21 billion.
Yousufzai, however, stated that the money borrowed by the previous government was not spent on development work and had gone into people’s pockets. Whereas, PTI would be giving each and every detail about the amount spent.

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has plunged the province into loans of around Rs3 trillion, which would take nearly 40 years to return.
KPK Deputy Information Secretary Shaukat Yousufzai has said the need arose as the Centre would not disburse funds to the province on time. He added they would pay back the loans by generating money from projects for which the funds have been borrowed.
However, the loans are said to burden the people of KPK as they would be paid back over decades to come on a markup of 0.6-2%.

Here I was able to find one official document. As I am not expert on Financing but this document showing that KPK government paid expensive loan of federal government prematurely in 2015. If you are expert in finance, please decipher some information for a common person like me?

All I am saying we need some official document. In Pakistan Newspapers can print anything without any consequences. I am PTI supporter but not defending PTI lead KPK government. Unfortunately PMLN/PPP destroyed all the institutes who can investigate and if found guilty irrespective of party affiliation must be sent to jail.
Also we need to compare from official numbers what happens to Punjab/Federal debt in last 5 years?

Loan in just 5 years (PML-N tenure) = 9.4 trillion Rs.
Since 1947, all successive governments, including the two PML-N administrations, took the central government’s debt to Rs14.4 trillion whereas the PML-N, in its last five-year tenure, added another Rs9.4 trillion, throwing the country into a deep debt trap.

In my opinion even for Punjab or Federal Govt we must be having source of information from official source. Like on finance State Bank of Pakistan will be the best source. Unfortunately, our Civil and Military dictators decimate our institutes. On the other hand print and electronic media is so strong that they have no fear of any prosecution for miss reporting. Anyway good news is that one corrupt criminal is behind bar and hopefully we will be having people's representative govt soon to fix institutes. Insha Allah hum dekhain gaay.
My point is that Both N league and PTI governments are the same. There is no difference. Ilzam khan have no future plan for Pakistan his mental level is below average level graduate of this country. PTI finacial expert Asad Umar is also a "kal purza" of the international banking mafia. Remember my this post the next government will likely be formed by pti, and after their government you will see the foreign debt will be double
