We weren't most corrupt in 2005 and 2010, but it was the number of countries in the survey which affected the results.

It was around 39(out of 41 countries) in 1995.
87(out of 99 countries) in 1998.
77(out of 102 countries) in 2002.
144(out of 155 countries) in 2005.

According to this report, .it was corruption index was 39 in 1995 and bcz of tiring efforts of ppp and pmln in 4 years it reached 85.

It was around 40 in 1996 but went upto 90 during the 2 years of Nawaz Sharif(120% increase in corruption). Then came down to around 78 in first few 4-5 years of Mushrraf but again shot up to its highest probably because Mushrraf started to be more compromising(with political parties) in his later 2-3 years.

In 1999 ranking was 87 out of 95 countries only, i guess pkease see transparency international report. No more countries included around 150 now.

Thank you for this fact. Didn't realize this. It makes PML-N and PPP even worse in that case.
