Bilawal needs political maturity and also has security issues before he jumps into the political fray, Zardari told reporters in Karachi.
Islamabad Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was undergoing training in London and would enter politics after attaining political maturity.
Bilawal needs political maturity and also has security issues before he jumps into the political fray, Zardari told reporters in Karachi.
He said Bilawal, who is chairman of the PPP, could not attend the death anniversary of Z.A. Bhutto in Larkana because he was scheduled to deliver a speech in London at a gathering held on the same occasion at the same time.
Flanked by PPP Senior Vice President Sherry Rehman and daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, the PPP co-chairman said his daughter was interested more in business and agriculture than politics.
Zardari voiced serious concern over Yemen crisis and said Pakistan could not remain aloof. Not only that its friends in particular Saudi Arabia are involved, nearly three million Pakistani workers are employed in these countries.
He said Pakistan should intensify diplomatic efforts for defusing the crisis. The prime minister should also convene an all-party in-camera convention to brief political leaders on the actual situation in Yemen and the nature of Saudi demands to Pakistan.
He said the PPP central executive committee has decided to send a delegation to Muslim countries to find a way to resolve the crisis in Yemen. He called on leaders of all Muslim states to sit together to sort out their differences. [email protected]
