خان صاحب ، اس وقت کا قاید دیکھیں اور آج کا لٹیرا صدر دیکھیں

قصور ہمارا ہی ہے ، ہمیں اپنا راستہ نظر نہی آتا

MUCH MUCH Respect for my beloved MOTHER -- Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. [It is so sad that when she stood against Ayub Khan, Books changed, she was maligned, called names, and history school books cut Fatima Jinnah's role to nothing. As a nation, we are truly sorry Mader-e-Millat.

People remember Benazir, but forget that Mader-i-Millat Mohtarma Dr. Fatima Jinnah fought to built this country, and then fought to save this country.

Does anyone remember that when Fatima Jinnah went to Dhaka -- The Million March in 1960s. Nearly 250,000 people thronged to see her in DHAKA, and a million lined the 293 mile route from there to CHITTAGONG. Her train, called the Freedom Special, was 22 hours late because men at each station pulled the emergency cord, and begged her to speak. The crowds hailed her as Madr-e-millat, (Mother of the nation). When whole East Pakistan was standing behind Fatima Jinnah.

The brutality, and CHEAPEST campaign against Mader-i-Millat by Ayub Khan & co. is one of 'forgotten' stories of Pakistan. She won popular vote but election were rigged extremely. That was an important point in East Pakistan, where disintegration of Pakistan got a rapid boost.

P.S: Top picture: Mayor of Karachi Hakim M Ahsan hosts a reception for Quaid-e-Azam and Fatima Jinnah.
