Imran Khah, a self respecting person would never shake hands with Musharraf whose hands are soaked with Muslim blood. Why have you left this door open? Has the smell of power got to you? where are your principles now? What drama are you playing now? Have you and Musharraf agreed that there will be two main parties only, TIP & APML? Interesting program if you want to know what is going to happen probably within few months.

IK stance on alliances can tell a lot as he avoided question on Musharraf.

I have got the feeling that new setup will be a technocrat setup which will improve things and will provide time for PTI to train their workers for electioneering. Alliance with MQM and party of clean politicians can't be ruled out.

I don't see anyone talking about bringinging Pakistani money back to Pakistan from the looters. There should be a mechanism to bring that money from Swiss Banks etc. else I will believe everyone is in it together.

Agreed that we need a caretaker government for new elections but i dont agree with Imran Khan heading the caretaker setup. Obviously because Imran Khan's party will be contesting elections so no one will accept the election results if he is the umpire and player at the same time. Its certain that Imran Khan will reject any such offer so a non-partisan personality is needed for caretaker government, possibly CJP.

arslan,if CJP is agreed ,no objection but what i meant was under an impartial election commisioner . GO ZARDARI GO .According to the media reports, bogus votes are still in the voters list and it have to be verified by a neutral commissioner .People who did the registration of the voters are their own(PPP) so how can someone trust the PPP govt in this regard.

Arsalan and Samy - Can't be CJP and shudn't be CJP - otherwise there would be a lot of horrifying consequences. You can't mix judiciary with executives not even for short-terms. CJP taking over temporarily as President, in absence of Chairman Senate is a different thing.

mjzafar,usually the head of caretaker govt is non-judicial person .you are right to some extent ,i agree with you thats why i mentioned IK with an impartial election commissioner and he can also take part in election.Right now the survival of the nation is in question,every politician should think about the nation saving and building ,forget everything else. Nation could go that low , no one even dream of it.The ppp and its sympathisers deserve the hanging upside down in public.

Brother Adam ... have you even watched the program .. I know it was in Urdu which I am not if it's your first language ... but no where in the program Imran said that he is willing to shake hands with Musharraf. He has on numerous occasion blamed Musharraf for the state that Pakistan is in now and he had made it extremely clear that he is only willing to form an alliance with people (not parties) whos hands are clear of corruption and who are against the status quo and that they have declared their assets... and furthermore has to prove that the source of their assets... and if you know the history ... there are only a handful of politicians who fall in the category of being clean of corruption and their assets are not through ill-gotten gains. The other part of about APC ... Imran only participated in that because it was the right thing to do ... a message had to be delivered to the US that ... even though for common country good, all parties are united on one point agenda. And inj fact, it was Imran who ensured that a pre-typed resolution is not adopted and made necessary changes to the resolution which only someone with a solid political acument and a true love for his nation can do. So sorry ... he and his party is certainly not the scum like the other looters that you may played a part by wasting your vote in getting them elected. So you have the choice to either do the same mistake that most of us have committed many times in the past or use common sense and logic to determine who is the only clean and sincere party that you want to elect to govern Pakistan ... and the common sense answer is Imran and his team. My hats off to Hamid Mir for a fantastic program especially with Imran's clips showing that he is a true man of his word who have not changed his stance ... he does what he says ... I don't believe in heroes... but after Quaid-e-Azam who gave us this land that we can call a home... now I have two heroes... the second being Imran Khan. May Allah protect him and give him the opportunity to lead this nation back to its true glory and pride. Inshallah. Nasr-um-minAllah-e-wa-fat'hun-qareeb .

Most of the comments are very childish & emotional real fact is that imran is no way can form the govt all alone,in parliamentry form of govt there is always compromise even british /indian govts are based on same, imran & clleagues are too young for parliamentry politics.

I realized that most of the well reputed politicians are showing their willingness or contemplating joining hands with PTI. Some will even become members of PTI if asked. Mushahid Hussain is one of them. Others could be:

Marvi Memon
Shah Memood Qureshi
Sh Rashid (I don't know if he will be an asset or a liability)
Mahmood Achakzai
Hameed Gul
Aaitzaz Ahsan
Mian Azhar ( already in)

These people with existing members of PTI (Dr Alavi, Dr Mazari, Omar Cheema) will make a formidable team to pull Pak out of troubled waters.. Lead by Captain IMRAN KHAN InshaAllah...

samy99, I agree with the other guy (forgot who it was) that it should not be IK even if EC is independent. A better option will be to pick up a very honest retired judge of supreme court. We have many of those. The key is to form a good team for that retired judge who can take care of things very well for 90 days and make sure elections are independent.
