Haha their leaders reflect them.

Our leaders reflect us.

Funny how we actually condemn ourselves through our leaders and feel happy about that.

Especially after we land in some White country, we itch for sitting on a Desi website to tell our natives how bad their world is. We have to tell them that their country failed us, and we are over-qualified for their country, when actually it's the opposite :)
Your world is really bad.Go to USA ,Canada or western Europe and you will find how bad Pakistan is.There is no democracy, human rights, justice, equality, health, education facilities or employment opportunities in Pakistan.Only corruption thrives in Pakistan.

Haha. This is the illegal immigrant I wanted to catch! The low-IQ UK dump of cheap Pakistani labor who failed in Pakistan, do some vocational job in UK, write atrocious English and tell us how bad Pakistan is, just to prove they are over-qualified for Pakistan. While in fact, they are part of the problem, not of the solution.

Tell me, when you go to your friends in Pak, do you tell them fascinating tales about tubes and skyscrapers?

our politicians are busy in corruption, eating nihari and marrying at old ages. This guy is priceless and today he went to Montreal train station and greeted all people.

You nailed it; leader is a reflection of society....

Once I was having a conversation with my Irish professor about political corruption and as usual was bashing our leaders, not all of them though:), and he ended the conversation with hey man we didnt send those leaders to your country, they were born and raised in your country and are a reflection of your society. Seriously, that debate changed my whole perspective about politics in our country.

"Corruption" is a meaningless catch-phrase.

Actually, we Pakistanis are lousy. Our manufactured products can't compete at any level, our employees don't want to work, our citizens love to bribe and flout the law, and our graduates are a dump of inflammable rhetoric, which is expert at dumping all their problems on 'leaders corruption'.

How did it all happen? Well, we have been fighting more wars than Canada, isn't it? Know a country where decades of conflict brought peace? The country you are comparing yourself against had a booming civilization when Shah Jehan and Aurang Zeb were still fighting for power in your land! Several centuries of civilization and happiness now stand between you and them.

To be quite honest with you, our 'leaders' did slightly better than us. More on that later!

Oh come on man, don’t be so hard on our own people. I think a just society should accommodate everyone from low-IQ to high-IQ.

Yes, some people do get overwhelmed by the tubes/skyscrapers here and start looking down upon almost everyone in their own country, which is ungraceful behaviour, but I think it’s the frustration inside them with which they left their country and nothing else.

My friend is doing PhD here, sometimes he worry about getting a job after finishing his studies and say “if I don’t get a job here I am going back to my country and will get a wonderful job there”. I make fun of him and tell him that there are way more talented and hardworking people than you, if you don’t get it here you can’t get it there(bigsmile)......

I was volunteer for his compaign ( different MP who also won ) and was impressed by the professionalism . Stephen Harper who lost speech was amazing as well, though I am critic of him, his concession speech was great.

As long as there is Noora League in Pakistan, there is no hope. Punjab will be sold again in one odd showcase project. People of Punjab should watch videos of some of western leaders, and educate themselves that how a leader should be.

I am not being hard, just being honest. I respect their views, and I think they are doing a great job with their work.

And I also know that these poor souls are unaware of the blind hatred inside them.

But having said that, there has been a systemic migration of a certain class of Pakistanis to UK. They have their views which is good, so far so good. But they don't represent everyone. When they are told that, they come around hurling their "experience of the west" and how it makes them wiser than the unfortunate ones sitting in Pak.

That's the time I put them in their place.
