Why not replicate Chinese housing model, they have abundance of new homes in China, surely we have enough construction companies and manpower to build homes inside Pakistan???

As for religion, well its fine to do backgrounds check in all foreigners, but when accepting donations this principal an be bypassed.

Homelessness exist only in urban areas where property prices are skyrocketing and out of reach for most of Pakistanis.

New cities will never solve problem unless we move big offices, business, airports to new cities.

Secondly, a major crackdown on property sector with heavy taxation on property investors will bring prices down in bigger cities and all those non-utilized plots will automatically fix this problem of people not having homes. There are many lac plots are still empty inside Islamabad city limits.

Allow only 1 property for each citizen. 2nd property should be heavily taxed. Also all non utilized plots should have 10% annual tax to discourage people form parking money in plots and sitting on them like snakes.

Islamabad...my city was itself a new city.....now it has lost its charm the way it used to be. I would suggest moving the capital of Punjab from Lahore to another brand new capital....even the upcoming South Punjab should have a new capital....businesses will shift gradually....ofcourse all new cities should have planned commercial areas and office buildings....

This is very good suggestion for Punjab capital.

Also all the Ministries and Government offices should be moved out of Islamabad. Only main leadership of the country should be left in Islamabad. They should build a modern mega-city in attock near the river area. It's a beautiful place.
