Overwhelming majority of people have no dollars to hoard begin with. The rich arent going to be listening to you and if middle class have any dollars then it is savings of their hard work and frankly you cant ask them to do it to begin with. No one wants to exchange what little they have for a free falling currency and one can make that demand of them.

Unfortunately in Pakistan, those who started this trend on social media don't even have a Foreign currency account as most of them are under 18 year of age !
