Birth of dishonest journalism

It is a fact of modern times that more than often salacious and distasteful reporting has given birth to brainwash readers and the viewers. Majority of the journalists these days would do anything, write anything to make or break any one at command and stoop as low as to polish their bosses shoes so as to fill their pay packets with handsome rewards. After 9/11, Zionist Western controlled media helped the Bush administration to depict any questioning of the war against Iraq as a sign of disloyalty and lack of patriotism is the lowest point of journalism.

Western TV media made the first night of barbaric bombing of Baghdad called Shock & Awe looked as a display of glorified fireworks but in fact, it was horrid, ruthless, merciless and uncivilized show of power by the Americans. It was the most distasteful, disgraceful and shameful piece of western journalism to defend and justify the sheer barbarity of that night. It disgusted and horrified billions of civilized people of the world but not the US, Zionist Israelis and European warmongers and the wicked journalists who wanted to make their names in the good books of their bosses in the hope of rewarding themselves with mouthful and belly full of dollars.

On that horrible and ugly night, hundreds of Iraqi little babies and young children were killed; hundreds of pregnant women aborted because of horrendous bombing that shook the earth all around them; and thousands of innocent men and women died on that ugly night but the cheap journalists made it look good for the TV and newspapers. It was the worst case of journalism that shamed the world and dragged it to the lowest level of reporting.

Jouranlism has become a dogs war where law of jungle applies and one with the biggest teeth and claws tears apart some one's dignity and integrity to win tons-load of dollars, pounds and rupees for his/her media moguls.

" Paise ke liya sub kuch keray ga".

The media should be responsible on how it reports its stories. There is a fine line on what to report and what not to report. The Metropolitan (Dawn) has made accusation that the suicide bomber killed in Islamabad on the 9th of November in encounter was all staged as the symptoms did not match to any normal suicide bomber. How would the Metropolitan know on the characteristics of suicide bombers? They should really reconsider before printing such stories.

hira :I think this is exactly right!! Print media as well as TV media. They have no ethics nowadays. They just want to rip apart personalities to get paid thats all. There is extreme deficit of analysis and unreliable sources. Good job man I believe we should have maximum blogs of these kinds to raise our voice. You should give this a look too article by sadiq salim. You will find it interesting.

All over the world that is right but in Pakistan the case is even worse. Pakistan media is ready to blow off anybody just to increase their air rating. The CNG and sugar crisis was not this bad in earlier months but they portrayed it so badly that it created a sense of tension in the society ahead of time. Journalists have forgotten what to report and when to report it. I agree with the above comment. Its about time we have a NRO of the media and make it answerable to a higher authority.
