I think the real issue is that we are emotional beings and wish to feel loved, respected, appreciated and wanted. The world has been turned in to a very cruel place and all are suffering inside due to these lacks or lack of fulfillment.
People try to change their looks just in case that helps them. Plastic surgery, make up etc etc is all part of same issue. Others simply exploit that to their advantage.
The real peace of mind can only come from idea of caring for each other and sharing with each other our world. We need to become realistic so that we could create the real world for ourselves. The skewed world views is not good for anyone in the long term.

It is difficuilt to fathom that unless you live in The West for a considerable period of time.The Western type of lifestyle,though once in favour,the bad effects are crystal clear.There is nothing in common to bind a family.Morals which make a home and which strenthen families have to be brought back here and reinforced.
The Western concept of free competition and survival of the fittest.......morality is the biggest casuality.A civilization is one which passes down it's morals and cultures too.Unfortunately morality is not inherited in competitive situations.Morality is reduced to vulgarity and in that process woman becomes a glorified prostitute !!!
