I suuport the folowing post:

How easily you said that it is due to the existing old system and Nazim / MQM has no concerns with it. It is not true that the old system is not capable for the storm water drain. Being a concerned professional I, can say with confidently that It was designed to meet the requirements.

But what happened in our past and in particularly the MQM Nazim era that the storm water drained channels (Nalas) were closed and the most recent example was the allotment and closures of storm water drain channels (Nalas) in Clifton for the commercial purposes. The last rain in Karachi, results a lot of losses to lives and properties and when the concerned citizens raised the voices, then the government was compelled to cancel the shops constructed on the Nalas.

Further the Nazim / MQM supported the encroachment on these Nalas and nothing was done to clear the storm water drain system.

It is important to note that the MQM has allotted the existing parks for the residential uses and a great resource of the natural drain system has been abolished and peoples were deprived from their basic rights of playgrounds / parks. It was done to benefits the some individual of MQM involved in corruption.

An important part of the story is the recently constructied underpasses, which were properly designed and the contracts were awarded on a very high cost without proper transparency. The situation on thee underpasses is more horrible in the last and recent rains.

So we should not hide the corruption of Nazim / MQM but bring them in the parameter of accountability for the misuse of public money and assets.

Rain floods London Tube stations

A number of London Underground stations were closed on Tuesday evening after a series of thunderstorms led to floods.

Victoria, Paddington and Hyde Park Corner Tube stations were shut at about 1730 BST after torrential rain hit central London with hail and lightning.

All stations have reopened and overground services from Victoria station also resumed after disruption.

There were a number of flood warnings at rivers and tributaries in south-east London including River Ravensbourne.

On Tuesday many commuters were left stranded outside Victoria station and left having to find alternative routes out of the capital.

Sara Livesey, 40, who works in recruitment, was trying to get home to Beckenham in Kent.

She said: "I waited in the office until the rain stopped, thinking I was leaving at a good time and I can't believe this, I'm just dumbstruck. It's only been raining for 20 minutes and this happens, what a joke."

Personal assistant Elana Turner, 29, executive assistant Lou Barr, 28, and accountant Cathy Bishop, 37, said they were looking on the bright side, despite their difficulty in getting home to Beckenham.

Ms Barr said: "Everyone's really moody, some woman came by us shouting, 'Can you just keep moving?' and we just thought, 'Where?' Everyone's so grumpy but I'm secretly quite happy because it means I don't have to go to the gym."

Ms Turner added: "There was only a few minutes of rain and this happens. I think we're going to have to walk somewhere."

Let's suppose MQM / Nazim has clear hands in the affairs and are not involved in the corruption, then I suggest:

Nazim/ Altaf, MQM leaders, KMc and other departmental officers / officials to declare their present assets and the assets before holding the position.
These must be scruntized by a impartial JudicalCommission. I will suggest that the same procedure must be adopted for all the politicans and officials.

Hope MQM /Altaf and their supporters will also support this suggestion, in order to expose the real culprits in the society.

Most welcome.
It should be done across the board.
Even if someone has any proof, he/she can go to court.
Because, it is said Judiciary is independent and free.
But, no cock and bull story.

If MQM and its leaders are clean, why they hesitate to declare to declare their present assets and the assets before holding the position.
Then let' it decide by the peoples and Judicary.

They have already submitted there assets in election commission.
If someone has proof, about any hidden assets he can go to election commission or court.
If anyone has proof about the Palace of ALTAF,either in London or Pakistan, or any MQM's candidate, please, don't hide.

They should declare openly bwefore the media the present assets and the assets they own before getting the position alongwith the sources to get the present assets.
After their declaration the peoples can challange their statements. As, I and thousands of pakistanis know these so-called middle class MQM leader' status today and what they were yesterday.

If they have clean hands, why they hesitate to dclare assets.

Why this demand only for MQM, Why not everybody?

Even, let the election time come, if judiciary and election commision of Pakistan raise this concern, everything will be provided to them, And in the election everything will also be presented to the people to let them decide.Happy

MQM has no obligation to answer every Tom, Dick and Harry throughout the year.
As you said perfectly, let the people and judiciary decide. They have the right and every party is answerable to them. But when? at the time of elections, right?

I never asked from MQM alone to do so, but since MQM claims to be a very clean leadersship with no corruption involvement, let's start it from MQM. In this way the public pressur to the others will increased and it will be a great success to expose the corrupt elements of the society.

As i write periviously:

Don't try to divert the issue and let it began from the champions of the 98% class. Actually they are afaird from the doing so and trying to divert it. Let's go forward in the direction of transprency, if they are sure that they have not done any corruption.

I can understand, why you think it is diversion of topic.
Although, if you watch the video from the posted link of mine, you would get amazing information about your beloved politicians.

Already submitted in election commission, if you or anyone has a proof please publish.
But, story shouldn't be like JINNAH PUR.
