I watched a program where pMLN female MNA was defending her chairperson post for this program " because this loan scheme is her brain child so she deserves to be head of this program" I was like what the hell, Bank Loan is a new patent invented by Maryam Safdar etc and should be nominated for nobel prize for this novel idea and banks should be thankful to her!
on the scheme its nothing new looking at track record of PML NAWAZ group
1. Yellow Cabs to huge buses and caoches like Mercedes Benz
2. Again Yellow Cabs
3. Green Cabs
4. Laptops - state handouts for personal projection while this money could have spend on all schools to make an impact
5. now Loans
all above have one thing common, Pakistan government dont much spend on it apart from huge advertisements with self portraits. Banks forced to pay for all this non sense, all of these schemes proven in past as big time failure and only people who are already rich used others names to buy mega coaches and duty free cars by paying 10% deposits and rest well never paid back to banks in most cases. most of the banks capital is just gone as bad debt!
If yellow cabs were a success, by now those yellow cabs owner would have expanded from one car to several cars with growth of their business!
Its all at the expense of Banks owned by state!
Why Mian Mansha bank MCB is not participating in this huge honour and invention of Maryam?
unless they dirvert this cash to useful sectors to create jobs, increasing purchasing power who will buy services from Yellow cabs or businesses set up by these loans? who ?
Even flawed I wish atleast some smart and deserving youth get these loans and work hard and not end up in the hands of who are only after the quick cash with no intention to pay back or do anything with it!

If u study Italian Mafioso history, despite being European, they never involved their women folk in mafia activity. But this Sharif Family Mafia is shameless even by Mafioso standards.
