Who's behind this? who's spending millions and millions of dollars?

Maybe a Freudian slip here.

My issue is that Establishment (euphemism for Army) is already too politicised. They are already too entrenched in our civilian life which is not their role. We are spending huge sums of money on them to defend us. But instead of defending us, their major offensive is usually against the civilians, meddling in elections, and blackmailing politicians. All institutions should work within their prescribed parameters.

Not a fan of civilian leaders either, but 2 wrongs do not make it right.

You see the point I am Trying to reach is Pakistan Army has done wrong No Army In This World has done right They all Did things they are not proud of Pakistan is no exception. But has the civil leadership not done wrong either? 5 years of zardari speak volume and new government is even more useless as time progresses.

Ultimately its simple do we stick with our own designs or the designs of other nations. Wrong will be done and Right will be done if the wrong was done in small proportions but it hurt everyone then it will out weigh the good done in a lager sum its fact. But do we allow foreign desires to thrive vs our desires and believe me Pakistan is a target on a Global level for the ambitious enemy powers that exist.

They should use their power and influence in making electoral process fair and transparent rather than thrusting their will on the masses. To the contrary, they were probably themselves involved in rigging elections.

Does any other country or institution work "within its ambit" ?? ...Does CIA work within its ambit when it interfers in Pakistan ?? ..Does India work within its ambit ??

- All martial Laws have been periods of economic progress when the GDP has grown at an impressive rate, the debt went down and the dollar was kept stable.

- All martial laws had better law and order situation in the country with less uncertainty and more progress..

Answer the simple question as to whether all other institutions work in their "Ambit" or not ?? - The answer is NO ...and you playing word games does not mean anything !

But that is then interfering in Civil matters. Military Matters a civilian does not interfere but surely that is one of the points you raised earlier being too politicized. As far my knowledge I haven't heard that Army interfered in elections.
