Vienna takes a battery of measures to fight against Islamists


Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz said Saturday that his government was preparing a bill to create a standardized German language version of the Koran, to prevent the misuse of the Muslim holy text.


The minister also responsible for integration policy, said that the bill will allow Austrians and Muslims access to the original content of the Koran, without distortion or misinterpretation, developed by Islamists for terrorist purposes.


The Austrian Muslim community will offer an official version based on a translation "redacted", which will be integrated into the 1912 law on Islam in Austria, rebuilt for the occasion.


Austrian authorities estimate the number of 140 djiahdistes currently engaged in combat in Iraq and Syria.


Also have they begun to fight against Islamist movements through an action plan with a series of measures: banning symbols of terrorist groups; Austrian citizenship revoked extremists holding dual nationality; restriction on leaving the territory of the European Union for minors.


The spokesman of the Muslim community, Carla Amina Baghajati said Saturday that it was very difficult to define a correct version of the Qur'an, because the Arabic words often have a wide range of meanings. She advised the Austrian news agency APA that it is in the interest of the community to work on this issue.

If Saudi Govt allows standard (Saheeh international) translation , then what's wrong if another country allows another standard translation. In principle it is not right as Quran may be translated differently, however positive and humanistic translation should be the only standards.

And what translation do you think will be acceptable for the Austrian Govt... Obviously which concentrates on namaz roza and prohibits Muslims from standing up for Shari'a

Why are u assuming that, since west is more islamic than us, may be more islamic translation.

The logic you are trying to put through is not valid because every Muslim Govt and Army obeys their Western lords. The religion practiced is the one allowed by the west, not the one preached by Muhammad SAW. Only country practicing Islam in purity is the Islamic State. its the only state you can draw comparison with and it will win on all accounts.

I donot want to sound rude, but do you really know that I asked you to open a new thread on "if western countries are more Islamic than the so called Islamic countries? and for future discussion please read the reply/my post before attempting to answer the post.

That's what I am telling you that there is no point in opening the thread because the very logic you present is invalid. A comparison can not be made because the Islam practiced in Muslim countries is what approved by the westerners.. not the one preached by Mohammad SAW. The only state you can draw comparison with is the Islamic state which you haven't heard of so that's why I am asking you that before we start the discussion you get to know about the Islamic state.

where is the embassy of this country, what is the GDP, what do they produce, what is their import and export, isn't "pasta,Spagetti, can foods" are predominantly "western" foods? why are you using dollars, what is the name of your currency, and how old are you, really? and how many accounts you have?
