Most of the Pakistani who might have some sympathy with TTP few months ago are now fed up with this takfiri mindset.TTP has also sensed this situation.That's why they have offered negotitations to confuse the nation once more.

The supporters of military action are assuming that the operation will be a guaranteed success, and situation after such action will become tranquil. This is a flawed assumption. Gen, Kiyani himself said in the closed parliamentary session that chances of military success are only 40% at best. So what if military operation does no succeed, and what is the backup plan (Plan B). We are entering in a closed ally without an escape route. Next will be more killings, more bloodshed, more suicide attacks in the cities, and more grief for the nation. Indeed, a perfect trap has been set up for Pakistan, and we are blindly falling into it without being aware of the looming catastrophe.

Ok lets assume that our army and the useless government is not giving peace a chance. Because we Pakistanis base everything on here say and assumptions, so lets assume USA does not want the peace in Pakistan and Taliban are patriots and want a better Pakistan. So US is the main reason in being the obstacle to peace, would you not think that the so called Patriot Taliban would have said that come what may we will talk to our Pakistani brothers regardless what our enemy US and India does. There are not doing but they are doing just the opposite, killing Pakistanis. Now lets assume we sit on the table and talk to them, do you even know what they want? They want their version of Islam, are Pakistanis are willing to accept that, I don't think so. Are you willing to see your sisters, wife or your mother being hit by these jahils on streets of where ever you live in Pakistan for not abiding to purdah? R U willing to put your women forks behind char dewari? R u willing to accept no education for your female relatives and family members? R U willing to accept their demands that we should not accept the Pakistani constitution? R U willing to accept their definition of Muslims and more than likely you will fall in the category you might not like? These are serious questions which need to be answered in a honest way. I see lot of brothers who live in secular societies in the west but support these Talibans way of life. I don't think majority of Pakistani will accept what Taliban are demanding.

These questions need to be answered honestly not emotionally. As far as success of the operation goes, it will succeed if all us back our forces to get rid of these killers. They are the killers of our Pakistani brothers and sisters nothing less.

Talibans are our "brothers" as IK or JI says or believe,

now here is agenda of the talks

1) TTP should have access to all our cities and they can bomb whatever area they like, no questions asked.
2) No school shall be allowed, boys or girls, boys should be sent to the madrassas operated and managed by TTP and girls are just machine for s e x.
3) In order to put Pakistan under severe pressure and invite all kind of international sanctions, POLIO or other vaccination schemes/programs must be closed/stopped and teams must be eliminated.
4) No other religion apart from Talibani religion should have permission to live or practice their faith in Pakistan.
5) All games are evil, no international or national games should be played, all viewers and players should be killed.
6) Taliban would have say or any internal or foreign affair issue, others have to follow it.

These are the basic terms from our "brothers" who are enemy of US, INDIA and Israel and are very much doing everything to destroy Pakistan.

No one can give you guarantee of anything. It is only Allah who knows 100.00% what is going to happen. Can you or anyone else give the guarantee that negotiations will succeed? Can you give the guarantee that operations done after failed negotiations will not fail? Furthermore, can any operation done against rebels succeed with fear of failure in mind? Negotiations will only succeed if you first break their strength in North Waziristan.

One more thing: The 40% that General Kiyani said was not about the success of military operation.He used this percentage for the complete solution of the problem I-e 40% of this insurgency will be stopped thru military operation by uprooting their training camps and killing their first-tier leadership and the remaining 60% will be solved thru political process (e.g. talks, rehabilitation, education, employment etc.)
