After the 9/11 incident, Pakistan and US are fighting against terrorism for almost a decade now. But despite this mutual effort against terrorism, the tension between Pakistan and US relations is very prominent. According to experts in Washington, both the countries need to chalk out their differences to work for a stable Afghanistan as they both share a common strategic interest.
Brooking Institution's Michael O'Hanlon said that the current relationship between both countries is crucial and America is little more negative towards Pakistan than it was 5 - 10 years ago, the main reason for it was OBL's presence in Pakistan.
Mark Katz, who's a professor of government and politics at the George Mason University said that Pakistan and USA have to work together for the betterment of Afghanistan.
