In his e-mail message to Pakistani-American business leader Musawer Mansoor Ijaz, dated 30 December 2011, Syed Adeeb wrote: Dear Mansoor If you need a lawyer to represent you in Pakistans Supreme Court, high courts, judicial commission, or the Parliaments Special Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) then I suggest that Barrister Mohammad Akram Sheikh, former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, or Advocate Hamid Khan, Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), would be the best, competent lawyers to legally assist you in the Zardari-Haqqani treasonous memo case. Journalist SYED ADEEB.

Mohammad Akram Sheikh
In his press release, which he e-mailed to the news-media on 4 January 2012, Mansoor Ijaz wrote: Announcement of Legal Representation. Zurich [Switzerland] I have today retained the services of one of Pakistans most highly respected lawyers, senior Advocate of the Supreme Court Mr. Mohammad Akram Sheikh, to handle technical aspects and matters specific to Pakistans Constitution, the Supreme Courts orders, local laws and regulations, and media issues as they arise in preparation for my personal appearance in front of the Supreme Courts Commission constituted to look into the Memorandum matter.
Mr. Sheikh is a distinguished jurist who has served in the most important positions of Pakistans legal and judiciary system. His role as counsel in any number of important landmark constitutional cases reflects his judicial experience and respect for the rights of individuals in a free society. His knowledge of the case, the constitutional issues involved, and of the people who are party to the case will provide a much needed sense of judicial balance as these proceedings take their course.
I am happy to have him and his legal team on board. I look forward to coming to Pakistan in the near future to insure the facts and most importantly the truth of what has happened in this matter are presented before the [three] honorable [chief] justices [of 3 high courts] appointed by the Supreme Court, and that such truth becomes known before the only audience that really matters the people of Pakistan. It is they who elect their leaders, and only they who must judge the actions of those leaders taken in their name.

Mansoor Ijaz
Indeed, Mansoor Ijaz has made the right decision by retaining the legal services of senior Advocate Mohammad Akram Sheikh in the Zardari-Haqqani treasonous memo case.
Barrister-at-Law Mohammad Akram Sheikh is a legendary Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP). He has 39 years (1973-2012) of professional experience as a noted human rights, constitutional and defense lawyer. He is a former Chairman & Chief Executive of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), ex-President of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (SCBAP), ex-Chairman of Punjab Bar Council (PBC), ex-President of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and ex-General Secretary of District Bar Association (DBA Sahiwal). He was a Member of Law Asia (LA), Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA), Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) and American Bar Association (ABA). He has served as Pakistans Ambassador-at-Large with the rank/status of a federal Minister and represented Pakistan in the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC). A book should be written about admirable credentials, honorable mission, human rights justice advocacy, court cases and noble services of Advocate M. Akram Sheikh.
Americas National Press Club (NPC) introduction of Barrister Mohammad Akram Sheikhs speech, which he delivered at the NPC on 14 November 2007, states:
Akram Sheikh, as a representative of Pakistans Chief Justice [Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry], talked about the political crisis in his country. He opposed [military dictator] General [Pervez] Musharrafs continuation as [illegal] president of the country as Chief of the Army Staff. He also criticized the U.S. for dealing with General Musharraf and his [corrupt, tyrannical] government. Topics included Musharrafs original revolt against an elected government, the recent suspension of the [Pakistan] Constitution and the declaration of [military] Martial Law. After his presentation, he responded to audience and [NPC] members questions.
Attorney-at-Law M. Akram Sheikh has rightly exposed concocted lies, misleading disinformation and malicious propaganda of pro-PPP Devils Advocate Asma Jahangir and PPPP traitorous ex-envoy to the USA Husain Haqqani against Pakistani generals and judges in his article, headlined Memogate: stop insulting our honourable judges, which was published in The News International, a daily newspaper of Pakistan, on 5 January 2012.
