Its simple - if the guy believes that his breakthrough 'invention' is going to revolutionize the world as we know it today then why isn't he producing his kits and getting them installed on cars and saving those folks some money? Its as simple as that - not sure what he wants to gain by appearing on TV and demonstrating that he can start cars using his 'kit'. If I were him and 'believed' in my invention then I would have tried to sell the kit to people instead of wasting time on TV and getting government help. IF his claims were true or accurate and if he only had a dozen people using his 'kit' and proved that they were saving 30-40% on their fuel costs then he doesn't need to put on this show. If it was all true then people would be lining up to buy his kit.

The reality is that he got the thing working but now trying to pass it as something more than what it actually is.

Well, regarding the video - since I am the ultimate cynic I only have two words - conspiracy theory.

As for your argument about what it takes for concept to production - I get it. But this is not a case of where this guy is claiming that he made a scientific discovery or that his work is based on research. In one of the programs he said something to the effect: I don't care about the science I just know that I made it to work.

He is portraying himself as a doer and its not that he has a concept and doesn't have the resources - according to him he has the kits ready to go. My contention is why not install it two dozen cars and see if it is indeed saving people 30-40$% on fuel cost. This is no rocket science. What I am not getting is what is it that is stopping him from doing it? He seems like a decent enough mechanic - he can make a livelihood running an auto shop until his 'invention' takes off. If it was true then he would NOT HAVE TO DO A THING - people would not leave him alone and investors would be lined up outside his house/workplace.

BUT we all know that either he is a hoaxer or completely clueless and got himself entangled in something a lot bigger than what he anticipated.

For all we know, he started the engine successfully. Laws can be changed, laws have always changed. I am also a mechanical engineer and if I consider all what I have learnt, I would not give agha waqar's invention a second thought and would just move on ignoring it. But, again, laws can be amended. Hydrogen fuel cell powered cars is the future technology. Please do not use this sentence "PANI PER GARRI NAHI CHAL SAKTI", it can run on water. The only thing stopping it is an efficient process of extracting energy. May be Agha Waqar has found out that process "accidently" or he doesn't even understand how it works, yet it works.

He has offered to test his cell by any university, NUST, NED, UET. Professors or students can come forward and test his claim.

Now, stop abusing him. And stop pasting stuff from wikipedia. If you are still in an engineering university make a proposal, ask him to visit your campus and check his product.

It's an establish scientific fact that all we know about the universe is only 3 percent of it, the other 97 percent we don't know anything about is called 'black hole'. i think the concern is with conservation of energy which does not hold true if Agha Waqar suggests that he can run the car and charge the battery to decompose water. The battery cannot get charged continuously by the car this way.

I watched the program and I do not know why he had to use the fuel cell ?
