The title of the thread and video are misleading. Saleem Safi and the whole news video never implied that "Afghan Taliban are preparing to attack TTP". The news was that " Pro Army jihadi groups like Lashkar e Tayyaba(which has a bit of presence in Mohammand) and Ansar ul Islam( A barelvi Jihadi group in Khyber) are using the Name of Afghan Taliban to fight against TTP and TTP will approach Afghan Taliban. If this is true, then it will mean the exact opposite of what the Title implies that if Afghan Taliban/Haqqanis get angered at the use of their name by LET, Ansar ul Islam and others, they might give a shutup call to them in favour of TTP. In my analysis this new move won't effect the heart of TTP i.e Aurakzai and Waziristan where there is no Lashkar e Tayyaba and others. Yes, this move could damage TTP in Mohammand but they are already in a bad shape in that agency. As for relationship between afghan taliban and TTP. Afghan taliban do not carry out attacks in Pakistan but TTP, Afghan taliban, Alqaeda, Islamic movement of Uzbekistan and others are in the "SAME CLUSTER" while LashkereTayyba and similar groups are a very small minority in that region.
