Egyptian people are just as stupid as Pakistani. Along with their military and politicians. In Pakistan you can only have 2 types of leaders.
1.) A thief.
2.) An incompetent.
That's it. That's your choice. For the thief category we can give you:
Zardari & Co.
The Sharifs.
The Pakistan Military
For the incompetent, we can give you;
The Mullahs.
Imran Khan.
MQM
and few other stupid factions and parties.

The intellectuals don't have incentive to Rule Pakistan. If I had an awesome breakthrough I would not waste it on Pakistan. I would take it someplace else. Why waste a brain in a terrible place like Pakistan? So unless the intellectuals have incentive, they will NEVER EVER waste their time in Pakistan.

The Person making the video is Hank Green, he and his Brother, author John Green make a lot of very educational youtube videos, on history, chemistry, biology etc.
So Hank is explaining what the situation in Egypt is, in simple terms. He actually called a few locals in Egypt to confirm facts.
Basically there are four factions in Egypt, with separate aims. Mubarik and his party, the Egyptian Army, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the remaining people, including other parties, unemployed youth etc.
So Problem starts when Mubarik's son pisses off the army, and he loses their support. When the Arab Spring comes, Mubarik is left alone, and is kicked out.
People want three things: A Constitution, Democratic Government, and Solution to their problems.
Muslim Brotherhood wants elections first, while other parties want Constitution first.
Anyhoo, elections occur, and since Mubarik's Party and MB were the only ones prepared, they enter second round. Obviously no one will vote for Mubarik's party, so MB wins.
Problem is, Morsi and MB do two stupid things. 1- they are not making a new constitution, and 2- they do typical siasi **** and start putting their people in various positions (everything from governors to school peons)
People are afraid of swapping one dictator for another...so insist on constitution. MB do delaying tactics and....revolution again.
(that's the bad summary of it)

People have to understand, Pakistan faced the same **** before Ayub time, we didn't have a constitution and were constantly having politicals problems (it isn't taught in Pak studies sadly, but we had I dunno how many prime-ministers and governor-generals due to political turmoil) there is a good reason people supported Ayub early on, because our politicians wouldn't stop with their siasi dramas! It was embarrassing. We had Three constituitions, for heven's sake!
People say AMRIKA ISREEL, but they are deluded, NO ONE can bring out 10 million people on the streets like that! they can on their own, because MB became greedy and started doing siasi dramas. They know what happens when there is no framework (they have our example)

That day will come may be after next 50 years. Pakistan ranks 2nd in the children drop-out from the schools in the world. As of today, 20 million children are not attending the school in Pakistan. 2nd most important thing, the military will never let some intellectual or comptent person to rule this country otherwise their control over country will be finished and this is not acceptable to Pakistan's Army. They can accept Zardari through NRO but will not let any intellectual to lead this country.
